አንተ ነቢዩ ሆይ ! እኛ መስካሪ ፣ አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን ላክንህ ፡ ፡

ከልምላሜያቸው የተነሳ ወደ ጥቁረት ያዘነበሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and from the evil of the dark night when it falls ,
« ከሌሊትም ክፋት ባጨለመ ጊዜ ፤

and he made dark its night and brought out its light .
ሌሊቷንም አጨለመ ፡ ፡ ቀንዋንም ገለጸ ፡ ፡

and from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes ,
« ከሌሊትም ክፋት ባጨለመ ጊዜ ፤

and he made dark its night , and brought forth its sunshine .
ሌሊቷንም አጨለመ ፡ ፡ ቀንዋንም ገለጸ ፡ ፡

and we have not sent you , [ o muhammad ] , except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and he made dark the night thereof , and he brought forth the morn thereof .
ሌሊቷንም አጨለመ ፡ ፡ ቀንዋንም ገለጸ ፡ ፡

indeed , we have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner . and there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner .
እኛ አብሳሪና አስፈራሪ አድርገን በእውነቱ ( መምሪያ ) ላክንህ ፡ ፡ ማንኛይቱም ሕዝብ በውስጧ አስፈራሪ ያላለፈባት የለችም ፡ ፡

if i argue against it, certainly i will be locked up in a tiny dark room."
እኔም እዚህ ተማሪ ነኝና፡፡
