« ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከእርሷ አውጣን ፡ ፡ ( ወደ ክህደት ) ብንመለስም እኛ በደዮች ነን ፡ ፡ »

and none of you could have restrained us from him .
ከእናንተም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ላይ ከልካዮች ምንም አይኖሩም ፡ ፡

and not one of you could have withheld us from him .
ከእናንተም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ላይ ከልካዮች ምንም አይኖሩም ፡ ፡

and forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
ኃጢአታችንንም ይቅር በለን፥ እኛ ደግሞ የበደሉንን ሁሉ ይቅር ብለናልና፤ ከክፉ አድነን እንጂ ወደ ፈተና አታግባን።

and , of thy mercy , save us from the folk that disbelieve .
በእዝነትህም ከከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች አድነን ፡ ፡

behold this is the word that distinguishes ( good from evil ) :
እርሱ ( እውነትን ከውሸት ) የሚለይ ቃል ነው ፡ ፡

" it was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness " .
( ለአስከታዮቹ ) እናንተ ከስተቀኝ ትመጡብን ነበር ይላሉ ፡ ፡

lo ! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings ,
አላህን ፈሪዎቹ በአትክልቶችና በምንጮች ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

they shall say : surely you used to come to us from the right side .
( ለአስከታዮቹ ) እናንተ ከስተቀኝ ትመጡብን ነበር ይላሉ ፡ ፡

and the garden is brought nigh for those who kept from evil , no longer distant .
ገነትም አላህን ለፈሩት እሩቅ ባልኾነ ስፍራ ትቅቀረባለች ፡ ፡

but he who feared to stand before his lord , and restrained himself from evil desires ,
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

to replace them with others better than them : nothing can prevent us from doing this ,
ከእነርሱ የተሻለን በመለወጥ ላይ ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

and say : ' o my lord , i seek refuge in you from evil suggestions of the satans .
በልም « ጌታዬ ሆ ! ከሰይጣናት ጉትተጎታዎች በአንተ እጠበቃለሁ ፡ ፡

allah has been gracious to us . those who keep from evil and are patient , indeed , allah does not let the wage of the good doers go to waste '
« አንተ በእርግጥ አንተ ዩሱፍ ነህን » አሉት ፡ ፡ « እኔ ዩሱፍ ነኝ ፡ ፡ ይህም ወንድሜ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ በኛ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ! የሚጠነቀቅና የሚታገስ ሰው ( አላህ ይክሰዋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ የበጎ አድራጊዎችን ዋጋ አያጠፋምና » አለ ፡ ፡
