so whither do you stray ?
ታዲያ ወዴት ትኼዳላችሁ ?

his eyes did not swerve , nor did they stray
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

his eye did not waver , nor did it stray ,
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley ,
እነርሱ በ ( ንግግር ) ሸለቆ ሁሉ የሚዋልሉ መኾናቸውን አታይምን

your lord knows best who stray from his path and the guided .
ጌታህ እርሱ ከመንገዱ የሚሳሳቱትን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ተመሪዎቹን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients .
ከእነርሱ በፊትም የቀድሞዎቹ ( ሕዝቦች ) አብዛኞቻቸው በእርግጥ ተሳስተዋል ፡ ፡

o believers , do not stray from the path of god , and be with those who are truthful .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፤ ከእውነተኞቹም ጋር ኹኑ ፡ ፡

indeed your lord knows best those who stray from his way , and he knows best those who are guided .
ጌታህ እርሱ ከመንገዱ የተሳሳተውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ተመሪዎቹን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and they will proffer sub mission unto allah on that day , and there will stray from them that which they have been fabricating .
( አጋሪዎቹ ) በዚያ ቀንም ታዛዥነታቸውን ወደ አላህ ያቀርባሉ ፡ ፡ ይቀጣጥፉት የነበሩትም ሁሉ ከእነርሱ ይጠፋቸዋል ፡ ፡

8. bring your umbrella. it is raining cats and dogs at there
የመንገድ ካርታ ማምጣት አለብን

if thou art anxious for their guidance , yet allah guideth not such as he leaves to stray , and there is none to help them .
በመቅናታቸው ላይ ብትጓጓ ( ምንም ልታደርግ አትችልም ) ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚጠመውን ሰው አያቀናውምና ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ከረዳቶች ምንም የላቸውም ፡ ፡

he ( moses ) replied : ' indeed , i did that when i was among those who stray .
( ሙሳም ) አለ « ያን ጊዜ እኔም ከተሳሳቱት ኾኜ ሠራኋት ፡ ፡

and allah would not let a people stray after he has guided them until he makes clear to them what they should avoid . indeed , allah is knowing of all things .
አላህም ሕዝቦችን ከአቀናቸው በኋላ የሚጠነቀቁትን ( ሥራ ) ለእነሱ እስከሚገልጸላቸው ( እስከሚተውትም ) ድረስ ጥፋተኛ የሚያደርግ አይደለም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

invite to the way of your lord with wisdom and good advice and dispute with them in a manner that is best . indeed your lord knows best those who stray from his way , and he knows best those who are guided .
ወደ ጌታህ መንገድ በብልሃትና በመልካም ግሳጼ ( በለዘብታ ቃል ) ጥራ ፡ ፡ በዚያችም እርሷ መልካም በኾነችው ( ዘዴ ) ተከራከራቸው ፡ ፡ ጌታህ እርሱ ከመንገዱ የተሳሳተውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ቅን የኾኑትን ሰዎች ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and no protectors have they to help them , other than allah . and for any whom allah leaves to stray , there is no way ( to the goal ) .
ንቁ ! በደለኞች በእርግጥ በዘውታሪ ስቃይ ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚረዷቸው ዘመዶች ምንም አልነበሩዋቸውም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለእርሱ ( ወደ እውነት ) ምንም መንገድ የለውም ፡ ፡

" a day when ye shall turn your backs and flee : no defender shall ye have from allah : any whom allah leaves to stray , there is none to guide ...
ወደ ኋላ ዞራችሁ በምትሸሹበት ቀን ፤ ለናንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም ጠባቂ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡

for they say : " the fire will not touch us for more than a few days . " they have been deceived by the lies they have themselves fabricated , and stray from their faith .
ይኸ እነርሱ « እሳት የተቆጠሩ ቀኖችን እንጅ አትነካንም » በማለታቸው ነው ፡ ፡ በሃይማኖታቸውም ይቀጣጥፉት የነበሩት ነገር አታለላቸው ፡ ፡
