« ወደ ጌታህም ልመራህ ትፈራውም ዘንድ ፤ ( መንገድ አለህን ? ) » አለው ፡ ፡

so when we have read it , you should thereupon follow what is read .
ባነበብነውም ጊዜ ( ካለቀ በኋላ ) ንባቡን ተከተል ፡ ፡

say , ‘ my lord ! if you should show me what they are promised ,
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በል « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! የሚያስፈራሩበትን ( ቅጣት ) ብታሳየኝ ፡ ፡

say : ' lord , if you should show me that which they are promised ,
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በል « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! የሚያስፈራሩበትን ( ቅጣት ) ብታሳየኝ ፡ ፡

and i take refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you should stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and they say , " when is this promise , if you should be truthful ? "
« እውነተኞችም እንደ ሆናችሁ ይህ ቀጠሮ መቼ ነው ? » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

then we raised you up after you were dead , that haply you should be thankful .
ከዚያም ታመሰግኑ ዘንድ ከሞታችሁ በኋላ አስነሳናችሁ ፡ ፡

and if you should obey a man like yourselves , indeed , you would then be losers .
« ብጤያችሁም የኾነን ሰው ብትታዘዙ እናንተ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ የተሞኛችሁ ናቸሁ » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

allah advises you lest you should ever repeat the like of it , should you be faithful .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

allah admonishes you that you should not return to the like of it ever again if you are believers .

[ pharaoh ] said , " then bring it , if you should be of the truthful . "
