this study intends to establish students' insights in choosing the science, technology, engineering and mathematics strand. to enhance further knowledge about understanding the factors that might improve stem career involvement, the researchers evaluated students self perceptions of interest in science/mathematics, participation in stem activities and knowledge of stem career provisions.
