as to those who disbelieved: what! were not my communications recited to you? but you were proud and you were a guilty people.
Аммо, эй онон, ки имон наёвардаед, магар оёти Мо бар шумо хонда намешуд ва шумо такаббур менамудед ва мардуме гуноҳкор будед?

and you have not been hiding against yourselves, lest your ears, and your eyes, and your skins testify against you, but you thought that allah knew not much of what you were doing.
Аз ин ки гӯшу чашмҳо ва пӯстҳоятон ба зиёни шумо шоҳидӣ диҳанд, чизе ниҳон намедоштед, балки мепиндоштед, ки Худо бар бисёре аз корҳое, ки мекунед, огоҳ нест.

but, to the unbelievers (it will be said): 'were my verses not recited to you, but you were proud and were you not a sinful nation'
Аммо, эй онон, ки имон наёвардаед, магар оёти Мо бар шумо хонда намешуд ва шумо такаббур менамудед ва мардуме гуноҳкор будед?

[they will be told,] ‘yes, my signs certainly came to you, but you denied them and acted arrogantly and you were among the faithless.’
Оре, оёти ман барои ту нозил шуд ва ту гарданкашӣ кардӣ ва аз кофирон буди.

but as for the faithless, [they will be asked,] ‘were not my signs recited to you? but you were disdainful, and you were a guilty lot.
Аммо, эй онон, ки имон наёвардаед, магар оёти Мо бар шумо хонда намешуд ва шумо такаббур менамудед ва мардуме гуноҳкор будед?

and satan says, when the issue is decided, 'god surely promised you a true promise; and i promised you, then i failed you, for i had no authority over you, but that i called you, and you answered me. so do not blame me, but blame yourselves; i cannot aid you, neither can you aid me.
