"அன்றியும், நிச்சயமாக நாம் பூமியில் அல்லாஹ்வை இயலாமலாக்க முடியாது என்பதையும், அவனை விட்டு ஓடி (ஒளிந்து ) கொள்வதாலும் அவனை (எங்கேயும்) இயலாமலாக்க முடியாதென்பதையும், நாம் அறிந்து கொண்டோம்.

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் வானத்திலும், பூமியிலும் உள்ளவற்றை நன்கறிகிறான் என்பதை நீர் அறியவில்லையா? நிச்சயமாக இவை(யெல்லாம்) ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் (பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு) இருக்கின்றன. நிச்சயமாக இது அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு மிகவும் சுலபமானது.

do they not know that whoever opposes god and his messenger shall abide forever in the fire of hell? that is the supreme humiliation.
எவர் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனது ரஸூலுக்கும் விரோதம் செய்கின்றாரோ நிச்சயமாக அவருக்குத்தான் நரக நெருப்பு இருக்கிறது என்பதை அவர் அறிந்து கொள்ளவிலலையா? அவர் அதில் என்றென்றும் தங்கியிருப்பார் - இது பெரும் இழிவாகும்.

we have tried them as we tried the owners of the garden who had sworn that in the morning they would reap it,
நிச்சயமாக நாம் தோட்டமுடையவர்களைச் சோதித்தது போலவே, நாம் அவர்களைச் சோதித்தோம். அ(த் தோட்; டத்திற்குடைய)வர்கள் அதிலுள்ள கனிகளை அதிகாலையில் சென்று பறித்து விடுவோமென்று சத்தியம் செய்தார்கள்.

but whosoever does that in transgression and wrongfully we shall roast him in the fire. that is an easy matter for allah.
எவரேனும் (அல்லாஹ்வின்) வரம்பை மீறி அநியாயமாக இவ்வாறு செய்தால், விரைவாகவே அவரை நாம் (நரக) நெருப்பில் நுழையச் செய்வோம்;. அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இது சுலபமானதேயாகும்.

and fight in the cause of allah and know that allah is hearing and knowing.
(முஃமின்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போரிடுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவிமடுப்பவனாகவும், நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

and fight in the way of allah and know that verily allah is hearing, knowing.
(முஃமின்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போரிடுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவிமடுப்பவனாகவும், நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

maybe my lord will give me a garden better than yours, and send down a thunderbolt from heaven, so that in the morning it will be a slope of dust,
"உன்னுடைய தோட்டத்தைவிட மேலானதை என் இறைவன் எனக்குத் தரவும் (உன் தோட்டத்தின் மீது) வானத்திலிருந்தும் இடிகளை அனுப்பி அதை அதனால் மழுமட்டையான திடலாக ஆக்கி விடவும் போதும்.

(the brothers) said: "by allah! well ye know that we came not to make mischief in the land, and we are no thieves!"
(அதற்கு) அவர்கள், "அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியமாக, நாங்கள் நாட்டிலே குழப்பம் உண்டாக்க வரவில்லை என்பதை நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக அறிவீர்கள்; நாங்கள் திருடர்களுமல்லர்" என்றார்கள்.

and fight in the way of allah and know that allah is all-hearer, all-knower.
(முஃமின்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போரிடுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (யாவற்றையும்) செவிமடுப்பவனாகவும், நன்கறிபவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான் என்பதையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
