யார் தங்கள் பொருள்களை, (தான தர்மங்களில்) இரவிலும், பகலிலும்; இரகசியமாகவும், பகிரங்கமாகவும் செலவு செய்கின்றார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய இறைவனிடத்தில் நற்கூலி இருக்கிறது. அவர்களுக்கு அச்சமும் இல்லை. அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

o you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. and fear allah, to whom you will be gathered.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொண்டால், பாவத்தையும் வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், (நம்) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு இரகசியம் பேசாதீர்கள், ஆனால் நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவும் பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பதற்காகவும் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு - எவன்பால் நீங்கள் ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படுவீர்களோ - அவனுக்கே அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

it is not bad to give alms in public. however if you give them privately to the poor, it would be better for you and an expiation for some of your sins. god is well-aware of what you do.
தான தர்மங்களை நீங்கள் வெளிப்டையாகச் செய்தால் அதுவும் நல்; லதே (ஏனெனில் அவ்வாறு செய்யப் பிறரையும் அது தூண்டும்;) எனினும் அவற்றை மறைத்து ஏழையெளியோர்க்கு அவை கிடைக்கும்படிச் செய்தால் அது உங்களுக்க இன்னும் நல்லது. அது உங்களுடைய பாவங்களையும் நீக்கும்; நீங்கள் செய்வதை(யெல்லாம்) அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவனாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

believers, when you come to consult the messenger privately, give something in charity beforehand. that is best for you and most conducive to purity. but if you cannot find anything to give, know that god is forgiving and merciful.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் (நம்) தூதருடன் இரகசியம் பேச நேரிட்டால் உங்கள் இரகசியத்திற்கு முன்னர் ஏதேனும் தான தர்மத்தை முற்படுத்துங்கள். இது உங்களுக்கு, நன்மையாகவும், (உள்ளத்திற்குத்) தூய்மையாகவும் இருக்கும், ஆனால் (தான தர்மம் செய்வதற்கு) நீங்கள் வசதிபெற்றீராவிடின் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக மன்னிப்பவன், மிக்க கிருபையுடையவன்.

allah sets forth the parable (of two men: one) a slave under the dominion of another; he has no power of any sort; and (the other) a man on whom we have bestowed goodly favours from ourselves, and he spends thereof (freely), privately and publicly: are the two equal? (by no means;) praise be to allah. but most of them understand not.
அல்லாஹ் (இருவரை) உதாரணம் கூறுகிறான்; பிறிதொருவனுக்கு உடமைக்கப்பட்ட எந்தப் பொருளின் மீதும் (அதிகார) உரிமை பெறாத ஓர் அடிமை மற்றொருவனோ, நம்மிடமிருந்து அவனுக்கு நல்ல உணவு(ம் மற்றும்) பொருள்களும் கொடுத்திருக்கின்றோம்; அவனும் அவற்றிலிருந்து இரகசியமாகவும் பகிரங்கமாகவும் (நம் வழியில்) செலவு செய்கிறான். இவ்விருவரும் சமமாவாரா? அல்ஹம்து லில்லாஹ் (புகழ் எல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே) - என்றாலும் அவர்களில் பெரும் பாலோர் (இதனை) அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.
