believers, eat of the good with which we have provided you and give thanks to allah, if you really worship him.
اے اہل ایمان جو پاکیزہ چیزیں ہم نے تم کو عطا فرمائیں ہیں ان کو کھاؤ اور اگر خدا ہی کے بندے ہو تو اس (کی نعمتوں) کا شکر بھی ادا کرو

o you who believe! eat of the good things that we have provided you with, and give thanks to allah if him it is that you serve.
اے اہل ایمان جو پاکیزہ چیزیں ہم نے تم کو عطا فرمائیں ہیں ان کو کھاؤ اور اگر خدا ہی کے بندے ہو تو اس (کی نعمتوں) کا شکر بھی ادا کرو

he rendered thanks to allah for his bounties so that allah chose him (for his favours) and directed him to the right way.
اس (اللہ) کی نعمتوں پر شاکر تھے، اللہ نے انہیں چن (کر اپنی بارگاہ میں خاص برگزیدہ بنا) لیا اور انہیں سیدھی راہ کی طرف ہدایت فرما دی،

(muhammad), you are not insane, thanks to the bounty of your lord.
(اے حبیبِ مکرّم!) آپ اپنے رب کے فضل سے (ہرگز) دیوانے نہیں ہیں،

therefore remember me, i will remember you. give thanks to me, and reject not me.
اب تم ہم کو یاد کرو تاکہ ہم تمہیں یاد رکھیں اور ہمارا شکریہ ادا کرو اور کفرانِ نعمت نہ کرو

o ye who believe! eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you, and render thanks to allah if it is (indeed) he whom ye worship.
اے اہل ایمان جو پاکیزہ چیزیں ہم نے تم کو عطا فرمائیں ہیں ان کو کھاؤ اور اگر خدا ہی کے بندے ہو تو اس (کی نعمتوں) کا شکر بھی ادا کرو

and allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. and he gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to allah).
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹوں سے نکالا ہے کہ اس وقت تم کچھ بھی نہیں جانتے تھے، اسی نے تمہارے کان اور آنکھیں اور دل بنائے کہ تم شکر گزاری کرو

it is he who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when ye knew nothing; and he gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections: that ye may give thanks (to allah).
اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں تمہاری ماؤں کے پیٹوں سے نکالا ہے کہ اس وقت تم کچھ بھی نہیں جانتے تھے، اسی نے تمہارے کان اور آنکھیں اور دل بنائے کہ تم شکر گزاری کرو

we gave wisdom to lokman (saying): 'give thanks to allah. he who gives thanks, thanks only for himself, but whosoever is ungrateful, surely, allah is the rich, the praised'
اور بیشک ہم نے لقمان کو حکمت عطا فرمائی کہ اللہ کا شکر کر اور جو شکر کرے وہ اپنے بھلے کو شکر کرتا ہے اور جو ناشکری کرے تو بیشک اللہ بے پرواہ ہے سب خوبیاں سراہا،

certainly we gave luqman wisdom, saying, ‘give thanks to allah; and whoever gives thanks, gives thanks only for his own sake. and whoever is ungrateful, [let him know that] allah is indeed all-sufficient, all-laudable.’
اور بیشک ہم نے لقمان کو حکمت عطا فرمائی کہ اللہ کا شکر کر اور جو شکر کرے وہ اپنے بھلے کو شکر کرتا ہے اور جو ناشکری کرے تو بیشک اللہ بے پرواہ ہے سب خوبیاں سراہا،
