therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient , and guard in ( the husband 's ) absence what allah would have them guard . as to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct , admonish them ( first ) , ( next ) , refuse to share their beds , ( and last ) beat them ( lightly ) ; but if they return to obedience , seek not against them means ( of annoyance ) : for allah is most high , great ( above you all ) .
পুরুষরা নারীদের অবলন ্ বন , যেহেতু আল ্ লাহ ্ তাদের এক শ ্ রেণীকে অন ্ য শ ্ রেণীর উপরে শ ্ রেষ ্ ঠত ্ ব দিয়েছেন , এবং যেহেতু তারা তাদের সম ্ পত ্ তি থেকে খরচ করে । কাজেই সতীসাধবী নারীরা অনুগতা , গোপনীয়তার রক ্ ষয়িত ্ রী , যেমন আল ্ লাহ ্ রক ্ ষা করেছেন । আর যে নারীদের ক ্ ষেত ্ রে তাদের অবাধ ্ যতা আশঙ ্ কা করো , তাদের উপদেশ দাও , আর শয ্ যায় তাদের একা ফেলে রাখো , আর তাদের প ্ রহার করো । তারপর যদি তারা তোমাদের অনুগতা হয় তবে তাদের বিরুদ ্ ধে অন ্ য পথ খুজোঁ না । নিঃসন ্ দেহ আল ্ লাহ ্ সর ্ বজ ্ ঞাতা , মহামহিম ।
