for the protection of the qureaish--
قريش ވަންހައިގެ މީހުން އެކުވެރިކުރެއްވި ކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

a protection against every rebel satan;
އަދި ނުކިޔަމަންތެރި ކޮންމެ شيطان އެއްގެ ކިބައިން އެ އުޑު ރައްކާތެރިކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

i seek your protection should they approach me."
އަދި އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! އެ شيطان ން ތިމަންއަޅާގެ ގާތަށް حاضر ވެދާނެކަމަށްޓަކައި އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަމެވެ.

affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames,
(އެއިން) ހިޔަލެއްވެސް ނުދެތެވެ. އަދި ހުޅުގަނޑުގެ ހޫނުން ސަލާމަތްކޮށެއްވެސް ނުމެދޭމެއެވެ.

say, ‘i seek the protection of the lord of the daybreak
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ފަތިހުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަމެވެ.

i seek his protection against the evil of the invading darkness,
އަދި ރޭގަނޑުގެ އަނދިރިކަން ގަދަވެގެންފިހިނދު، އެ ރޭގަނޑުގެ ނުބައިކަމުންވެސްމެއެވެ.

(muhammad), say, "i seek protection from the lord of the dawn
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ފަތިހުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަމެވެ.

i seek the protection of my lord and your lord, lest you should stone me.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު رجم ކުރުމުން ސަލާމަތްކުރެއްވުންއެދި ތިމަންގެ ވެރި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެވެސް ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަމެވެ.

(muhammad), say, "i seek protection from the cherisher of mankind,
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! މީސްތަކުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަމެވެ.

my protector is god who sent down the book, and he takes into his protection the righteous.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންގެ އެހީތެރި ފަރާތަކީ، اللَّه އެވެ. އެކަލާނގެއީ، ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއީ، صالح ންނަށް އެހީތެރިވެ ވޮޑިގަންނަވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

as for those who were guided, he increases their guidance and gives them their protection.
ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންނަށް، އެކަލާނގެ ތެދުމަގު އިތުރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން تقوى ވެރިވެ، ރައްކާތެރިވުމުގެ މަގު އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ފަހިކޮށްދެއްވިއެވެ.

thereover protection belongs only to god the true; he is best rewarding, best in the issue.
އެތާނގައި (އެބަހީ: قيامة ދުވަހުން) އެހީތެރިކަން ދެއްވުން ملك ވެގެންވަނީ، حق ވަންތަ اللَّه އަށެވެ. އެކަލާނގެއީ، ثواب ދެއްވުމުގައި އެންމެހެޔޮ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި އެންމެފަހުގެ ނިމުން ދެއްކެވުމުގައި، އެންމެހެޔޮ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

(high) degrees from him and protection and mercy, and allah is forgiving, merciful.
(އެއީ) އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ލިބޭ ދަރަޖަތަކެކެވެ. އަދި، ފާފަ ފުއްސެވުމެކެވެ. އަދި، رحمة އެކެވެ. އަދި، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ رحيم ވަންތަ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައި اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

(it is a great grace and protection from allah), for the taming of the quraish,
قريش ވަންހައިގެ މީހުން އެކުވެރިކުރެއްވި ކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

indeed some persons from the humans would seek the protection of some persons from the jinn, thus only adding to their rebellion.
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

and to allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; and allah suffices for help and protection.
އަދި، އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި ވާހައި އެއްޗެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ اللَّه އަށެވެ. وكيل އަކުކަމުގައި اللَّه ފުދެއެވެ.

and he completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. and we adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection.
ފަހެ، ދެދުވަހުގެ ތެރޭގައި އެކަލާނގެ ހަތް އުޑު ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. އަދި ކޮންމެ އުޑަކަށް، އެ އުޑެއްގެ ކަންތައް (تدبير ކުރައްވައި) އެންގެވިއެވެ. އަދި ބައްތިތަކަކުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެންމެ ކައިރި އުޑު ޒީނަތްތެރިކުރައްވައި، އަދި އެ އުޑު ރައްކާތެރި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ عزيز ވަންތަ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ މިންވަރު ކުރައްވާފައިވާ ގޮތެވެ.

and that “some from among the humans used to seek protection of some among the jinn, and thus they increased the arrogance of the jinn”;
އަދި އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔަކު، ޖިންނީންގެ ތެރެއިން ފިރިހެންބަޔެއްގެ ކިބައިން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަށް އެދޭކަމުގައިވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ (އެކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން) އެއުރެންނަށް (އެބަހީ: ޖިންނީންނަށް) އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އިންސީން) كافر ކަމާއި ބޮޑާކަން އިތުރުކުރޫއެވެ.

and if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of allah. then deliver him to his place of safety.
އަދި مشرك ންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްވެސްމީހަކު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުން ރައްކާތެރިކަމަކަށް އެދިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެމީހަކު اللَّه ގެ كلام ފުޅު އަހައިފުމަށްދާނދެން އެމީހަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިކަން ދެއްވާށެވެ! ދެންފަހެ، އަމާންކަން ލިބިގެންވާ ތަނަކާ ހަމަޔަށް އެމީހަކު ގެންގޮސްދެއްވާށެވެ! އެއީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުންވެސް، އެއުރެންނީ ނުދަންނަ ބަޔެކެވެ.

how could you turn back to disbelief when the words of god are recited to you and you have in your midst his messenger? those who seek the protection of god will certainly be guided to the right path.
އަދި، اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވި آية ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަވައިދެއްވަނިކޮށް އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރޭގައި އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ ހުންނަވަނިކޮށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން كافر ވަނީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه ގެ دين ގައި ހިފަހައްޓާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށް ސީދާވެގެންވާ މަގަކަށް ތެދުމަގު ލިބިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
