本当に，現世の生活を例えれば，天からわれが降らせる水（雨）のようなものである。それで上を潤し，人間や家畜の食べ物を茂らせる。大地が美麗な装いで覆われて飾られると，そこの（住）民は，その全権を持ったと思い込む。だがわが命令が，夜も昼も一度下れば，昨日は緊茂していたはずのものが刈き取られた株のように変り果てる。われはこのように，熟慮する人びとのために（われの）印を解明する。
