١ - تكون اللغة السريانية لغة التعليم في كافة المدارس اﻻبتدائية التي غالبية تﻻميذها من الناطقين بهذه اللغة، ويعتبر تعليم اللغة السريانية إلزاميا في هذه المدارس.
(1) syriac is the language of instruction in all primary schools in which the majority of the pupils are syriac-speaking, the teaching of syriac being compulsory in those schools;

"special programmes in syriac shall be broadcast by the radio and television stations transmitting from kirkuk and nineva.

"مساهمة المؤلفين والكتاب والمترجمين الناطقين باللغة السريانية ماديا ومعنويا بطبع ونشر انتاجهم الثقافي واﻷدبي؛
"syriac-speaking authors, writers and translators shall be given material and moral assistance to print and publish their cultural and literary works.

"إنشاء جمعية لﻷدباء والكتاب الناطقين باللغة السريانية وضمان ممثليهم في اﻻتحادات والجمعيات اﻷدبية والثقافية في العراق؛
"an association of syriac-speaking authors and writers shall be established and shall be represented in iraq's literary and cultural federations and associations.

كما تثني على القوانين والقواعد الهادفة إلى حماية الهوية الثقافية لﻷقلية التركمانية والطائفة الناطقة باللغة السريانية، والتي سنت في سبعينات القرن العشرين.
the laws and regulations aiming at protecting the cultural identity of the turkoman minority and the syriac-speaking community, dating back to the 1970s, are also commended.

240- نص الدستور العراقي في الفقرة رابعاً من المادة (4) على "أن اللغة التركمانية واللغة السريانية لغتان رسميتان أخريان في الوحدات الإدارية التي يشكلون فيها كثافة سكانية ".

٦٣- كما نص قرار مجلس قيادة الثورة المرقم )١٥٢( في ٠٢ شباط ٢٧٩١ على منح الحقوق الثقافية للمواطنين الناطقين باللغة السريانية من اﻵثوريين والكلدان والسريان.
36. revolution command council decree no. 251 of 20 february 1972 recognized the cultural rights of syriac-speaking citizens (assyrians, chaldeans and members of the east syrian church).

99- كذلك يضمن الدستور العراقي النافذ إمكانية تعليم أبناء الأقليات بلغاتهم الأم في المؤسسات التعليمية الحكومية والخاصة وفق ضوابط تربويه محددة وهناك دائرة عامة في وزارة التربية (المديرية العامة لتعليم اللغة الكردية واللغات الأخرى) وكذلك تم استحداث قسم اللغة السريانية في كلية اللغات - جامعة بغداد.
99. the iraqi constitution also guarantees members of minorities the possibility of an education in their mother tongue at government and private educational establishments, in accordance with specific educational standards. in the ministry of education there is a general directorate for the teaching of kurdish and other languages.
