for the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
መጽሐፍ። በእርሱ የሚያምን ሁሉ አያፍርም ይላልና።

study to shew thyself approved unto god, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
የእውነትን ቃል በቅንነት የሚናገር የማያሳፍርም ሠራተኛ ሆነህ፥ የተፈተነውን ራስህን ለእግዚአብሔር ልታቀርብ ትጋ።

and if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

they feel ashamed of men and feel not ashamed of allah , whereas he is present with them when by night they plan together of discourse which pleaseth him not ; and allah is of that which they work ever an encompasser .
ከሰው ይደበቃሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም እርሱ ( በዕውቀቱ ) ከእነሱ ጋር ሲኾን ከንግግር የማይወደውን ነገር ( በልቦቻቸው ) በሚያሳድሩ ጊዜ ( ከእርሱ ) አይደበቁም ፡ ፡ አላህም በሚሠሩት ሁሉ ( በዕውቀቱ ) ከባቢ ነው ፡ ፡

they feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before god , despite his being present with them when they plot at night , uttering things of which he does not approve ; and indeed god is fully aware of what they do .
ከሰው ይደበቃሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም እርሱ ( በዕውቀቱ ) ከእነሱ ጋር ሲኾን ከንግግር የማይወደውን ነገር ( በልቦቻቸው ) በሚያሳድሩ ጊዜ ( ከእርሱ ) አይደበቁም ፡ ፡ አላህም በሚሠሩት ሁሉ ( በዕውቀቱ ) ከባቢ ነው ፡ ፡

for if i have boasted any thing to him of you, i am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which i made before titus, is found a truth.
ለእርሱ በምንም ስለ እናንተ የተመካሁ እንደ ሆነ አላፈርሁምና፥ ነገር ግን ሁሉን ለእናንተ በእውነት እንደ ተናገርን፥ እንደዚህ ደግሞ ትምክህታችን በቲቶ ፊት እውነት ሆነ።

and those who , having done something to be ashamed of , or wronged their own souls , earnestly bring allah to mind , and ask for forgiveness for their sins , - and who can forgive sins except allah ? - and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in ( the wrong ) they have done .
ለእነዚያም መጥፎ ሥራን በሠሩ ወይም ነፍሶቻቸውን በበደሉ ጊዜ አላህን የሚያስታውሱና ለኀጢአቶቻቸው ምሕረትን የሚለምኑ ለኾኑት ከአላህም ሌላ ኀጢአቶችን የሚምር አንድም የለ ፡ ፡ ( በስሕተት ) በሠሩትም ላይ እነርሱ የሚያውቁ ሲኾኑ የማይዘወትሩ ለኾኑት ( ተደግሳለች ) ፡ ፡
