ከታላቁ ዜና ( ከቁርኣን ይጠያየቃሉ ) ፡ ፡

about the awesome tidings [ of resurrection ]
ከታላቁ ዜና ( ከቁርኣን ይጠያየቃሉ ) ፡ ፡

so how awesome were my chastisement and my warnings !
ቅጣቴና ማስጠንቀቂያዎቼም እንዴት ነበሩ ?

i fear for you the chastisement of an awesome day . "
« እኔ በእናንተ ላይ የታላቅን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁና ፡ ፡ »

then the thamud were destroyed by an awesome upheaval ;
ሠሙድማ ወሰን በሌላት ጩኸት ተጠፋ ፤ ( ተወደሙ ) ፡ ፡

do not molest her lest the chastisement of an awesome day should seize you . "
« በክፉም አትንኳት ፡ ፡ የታላቅ ቀን ቅጣት ይይዛችኋልና ፡ ፡ »

say : “ if i disobey my lord , i fear the chastisement of an awesome day . ”
« እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ » በል ፡ ፡

say : ' surely do i fear , if i disobey my lord , the chastisement of an awesome day .
« እኔ በጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

' ad also gave the lie ( to hud ) . so how awesome were my chastisement and my warnings !
ዓድ አስተባበለች ፡ ፡ ቅጣቴና ማስጠንቀቂያዎቼም እንዴት ነበሩ !

then they branded him a liar , whereupon the chastisement of the day of canopy overtook them . it was the chastisement of a very awesome day .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ የጥላይቷ ቀን ቅጣትም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ የከባድ ቀን ቅጣት ነበርና ፡ ፡

those who came before them also gave the lie ( to the messengers ) : then how awesome was my chastisement !
እነዚያም ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበር !

their worldly earnings shall not avail them , nor those whom they took as protectors instead of allah . an awesome chastisement lies in store for them .
ከፊታቸውም ገሀነም አልለች ፡ ፡ የሰበሰቡትም ሀብት ከእነርሱ ላይ ምንንም አይመልስላቸውም ፡ ፡ ከአላህ ሌላም ረዳቶች አድርገው የያዙዋቸው ( አይጠቅሟቸውም ) ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ታላቅ ቅጣት አልላቸው ፡ ፡

surely allah does not forgive that a partner be ascribed to him , although he forgives any other sins for whomever he wills . he who associates anyone with allah in his divinity has indeed forged a mighty lie and committed an awesome sin .
አላህ በእርሱ ማጋራትን በፍጹም አይምርም ፡ ፡ ከዚህ ሌላ ያለውንም ( ኀጢአት ) ለሚሻው ሰው ይምራል ፡ ፡ በአላህም የሚያጋራ ሰው ታላቅን ኀጢአት በእርግጥ ቀጠፈ ፡ ፡

( they try to find out which of the intercessors ) are closer to god . they have hope for his mercy and fear of his punishment ; the punishment of your lord is awesome .
እነዚያ እነርሱ የሚግገዟቸው ማንኛቸውም ( ወደ አላህ ) በጣም ቀራቢያቸው ወደ ጌታቸው መቃረቢያን ( ሥራ ) ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡ እዝነቱንም ይከጅላሉ ፡ ፡ ቅጣቱንም ይፈራሉ ፡ ፡ የጌታህ ቅጣት የሚፈራ ነውና ፡ ፡

hud warned his people beside the sand-dunes -- and there have been other warners before him and since his time -- saying : “ serve none but allah . verily i fear that the chastisement of an awesome day shall come upon you . ”
የዓድንም ወንድም ( ሁድን ) ሕዝቦቹን በአሕቃፍ ባስጠነቀቀ ጊዜ አውሳለቸው ፡ ፡ በስተፊቱና በስተኋላውም ብዙ አስፈራሪዎች በእርግጥ አልፈዋል ፡ ፡ « ከአላህ በስተቀር አትግገዙ እኔ በእናነተ ላይ የከባድ ቀንን ቅጣት እፈራላችኋለሁና » በማለት ( ባሰጠነቀቀ ጊዜ ) ፡ ፡
