or do they desire a war ? but those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war .
ወይስ ተንኮልን ( ባንተ ) ይሻሉን ? እነዚያም የካዱት እነርሱ በተንኮል ተሸናፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

so the ( great ones ) were vanquished there and then , and were made to look small .
እዚያ ዘንድ ተሸነፉም ፡ ፡ ወራዶችም ኾነው ተመለሱ ፡ ፡

then he called upon his lord : “ verily i am vanquished ; so come you to my aid . ”
ጌታውንም « እኔ የተሸነፍኩ ነኝና እርዳኝ » ሲል ጠራ ፡ ፡

and so he called unto his lord , saying , ' i am vanquished ; do thou succour me ! '
ጌታውንም « እኔ የተሸነፍኩ ነኝና እርዳኝ » ሲል ጠራ ፡ ፡

he said , “ get out of it , despised and vanquished . whoever among them follows you — i will fill up hell with you all .
« የተጠላህ ብራሪ ስትኾን ከእርሷ ውጣ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱ የተከተለህ ከእናንተ ከመላችሁም ገሀነምን በእርግጥ እሞላታለሁ » አለው ፡ ፡

say to those who disbelieve : you shall be vanquished , and driven together to hell ; and evil is the resting-place .
ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ሰዎች በላቸው ፡ - « በቅርብ ጊዜ ትሸነፉላችሁ ፡ ፡ ወደ ገሀነምም ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡ ምንጣፊቱም ምን ትከፋ ! »

surely those who deny the truth spend their wealth to hinder people from the way of allah , and will continue to so spend until their efforts become a source of intense regret for them , and then they will be vanquished , and then these deniers of the truth will be driven to hell ,
እነዚያ የካዱት ከአላህ መንገድ ሊከለክሉ ገንዘቦቻቸውን ያወጣሉ ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም ያወጡዋታል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በእነሱ ላይ ጸጸት ትኾንባቸዋለች ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ይሸነፋሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የካዱት ወደ ገሀነም ይሰበሰባሉ ፡ ፡

he who drinks from it shall cease to be one of mine but he who does not drink from it , except he who scoops up once with his hand , shall be of mine ' but for a few of them , they all drank from it . and when he had crossed it with those who believed , they said : ' we have no power this day against goliath and his soldiers ' but those of them who reckoned they would meet allah replied : ' many a small band has , by the permission of allah , vanquished a mighty army .
ጧሉትም በሠራዊቱ ( ታጅቦ ) በወጣ ጊዜ ፡ - « አላህ በወንዝ ( ውሃ ) ፈታኛችሁ ነው ከርሱም የጠጣ ሰው ከእኔ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ያልቀመሰውም ሰው በእጁ መዝገንን የዘገነ ሰው ብቻ ሲቀር እርሱ ከኔ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ጥቂቶች ሲቀሩ ከርሱ ጠጡ ፡ ፡ እርሱና እነዚያም ከእርሱ ጋር ያመኑት ( ወንዙን ) ባለፉት ጊዜ ፡ - « ጃሎትንና ሠራዊቱን በመዋጋት ለኛ ዛሬ ችሎታ የለንም » አሉት ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እነርሱ አላህን ተገናኝዎች መኾናቸው የሚያረጋግጡት ፡ - « ከጥቂት ጭፍራ በአላህ ፈቃድ ብዙን ጭፍራ ያሸነፈች ብዙ ናት ፤ አላህም ከታጋሾች ጋር ነው » አሉ ፡ ፡
