we did not wrong them , they wronged themselves .
አልበደልናቸውምም ፤ ግን በዳዮቹ እነርሱው ነበሩ ፡ ፡

as for those who retaliate after being wronged , there is no ground for action against them .

a messenger is appointed for all people . when the messenger for them came he judged among them fairly and they were not wronged .
ለሕዝቦችም ሁሉ መልክተኛ አላቸው ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውም በመጣ ጊዜ ( ሲያስተባብሉ ) በመካከላቸው በትክክል ይፈረዳል ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

አላህ ከንግግር በክፉው መጮህን ከተበደለ ሰው ( ጩኸት ) በቀር አይወድም ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

allah does not like speaking evil publicly unless one has been wronged . allah is all-hearing , all-knowing .
አላህ ከንግግር በክፉው መጮህን ከተበደለ ሰው ( ጩኸት ) በቀር አይወድም ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

but the denominations from among them differed [ and separated ] , so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful day .
ከመካከላቸውም አሕዛቦቹ ተለያዩ ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት ከአሳማሚ ቀን ቅጣት ወዮላቸው ፡ ፡

and when , having wronged himself , he entered his garden , he said : ' i do not think that this will ever perish !
እርሱም ነፍሱን በዳይ ኾኖ ወደ አትክልቱ ገባ ፡ ፡ « ይህች ዘለዓለም ትጠፋለች ብዬ አልጠረጥርም » አለ ፡ ፡

and he went into his garden , while he ( thus ) wronged himself . he said : i think not that all this will ever perish .
እርሱም ነፍሱን በዳይ ኾኖ ወደ አትክልቱ ገባ ፡ ፡ « ይህች ዘለዓለም ትጠፋለች ብዬ አልጠረጥርም » አለ ፡ ፡
