but if they press you to associate something with me about which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. yet be kind to them in this world and follow the path of those who turn to me. you will all return to me in the end, and i will tell you everything that you have done.
ஆனால், நீ எது பற்றி அறிவு (ஆதாரம்) பெற்றவனாக இல்லையோ அதனை எனக்கு இணை வைக்குமாறு உன்னை அவ்விருவரும் வற்புறுத்தினால் அப்போது நீ அவ்விருவருக்கும் வழிபட வேணடாம்; ஆனால் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் அவ்விருவருடனும் அழகிய முறையில் உறவு வைத்துக் கொள்; (யாவற்றிலும்) என்னையே நோக்கி நிற்போரின் வழியையே நீ பின்பற்றுவாயாக - பின்னர் உங்கள் (அனைவருடைய) மீளுதலும் என்னிடமேயாகும்; நீங்கள் என்ன செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள் என்பதை (அப்போது) நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன்."

"என் இறைவனே! நிச்சயமாக நீ எனக்கு அரசாட்சியைத் தந்து, கனவுகளின் விளக்கங்களையும் எனக்கு கற்றுத்தந்தாய்; வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவனே! இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் நீயே என் பாதுகாவலன்; முஸ்லீமாக (உனக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டவனாக இருக்கும் நிலையில்) என்னை நீ கைப்பறறிக் கொள்வாயாக! இன்னும் நல்லடியார் கூட்டத்தில் என்னைச் சேர்த்திடுவாயாக!' (என்று அவர் பிரார்த்தித்தார்.)

"என் இறைவனே! நிச்சயமாக நீ எனக்கு அரசாட்சியைத் தந்து, கனவுகளின் விளக்கங்களையும் எனக்கு கற்றுத்தந்தாய்; வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவனே! இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் நீயே என் பாதுகாவலன்; முஸ்லீமாக (உனக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டவனாக இருக்கும் நிலையில்) என்னை நீ கைப்பறறிக் கொள்வாயாக! இன்னும் நல்லடியார் கூட்டத்தில் என்னைச் சேர்த்திடுவாயாக!' (என்று அவர் பிரார்த்தித்தார்.)

like those before you who were greater in strength, had more wealth and children than you, who enjoyed their lot in this world, as you have enjoyed your share like them. you indulge in idle talk, as they had indulged in vain discourse. yet nothing of what they did remains in this world or will in the next, and they are the losers.
(முனாஃபிக்குகளே! உங்களுடைய நிலைமை) உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களின் நிலைமையை ஒத்திருக்கிறது அவர்கள் உங்களைவிட வலிமை மிக்கவர்களாகவும், செல்வங்களிலும், மக்களிலும் மிகைத்தவர்களாகவும் இருந்தார்கள்; (இவ்வுலகில்) தங்களுக்குக் கிடைத்த பாக்கியங்களைக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் சுகமடைந்தார்கள்; உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்தவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குரிய பாக்கியங்களால் சுகம் பெற்றது போன்று, நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குக் கிடைத்த பாக்கியங்களால் சுகம் பெற்றீர்கள். அவர்கள் (வீண் விவாதங்களில்) மூழ்கிக்கிடந்தவாறே நீங்களும் மூழ்கி விட்டீர்கள்; இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் அவர்களுடைய செயல்கள் யாவும் (பலனில்லாமல்) அழிந்து விட்டன - அவர்கள்தான் நஷ்டவாளிகள்.
