แต่อยู่มาในคืนวันนั้นเอง พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มาถึงนาธันว่

และนาธันทูลดาวิดว่า "ขอพระองค์ทรงกระทำทั้งสิ้นตามพระประสงค์ของพระองค์ เพราะพระเจ้าทรงสถิตกับพระองค์

according to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did nathan speak unto david.
นาธันก็กราบทูลดาวิดตามถ้อยคำเหล่านี้ทั้งสิ้นและตามนิมิตนี้ทั้งหม

and king david said, call me zadok the priest, and nathan the prophet, and benaiah the son of jehoiada. and they came before the king.
กษัตริย์ดาวิดรับสั่งว่า "จงเรียกศาโดกปุโรหิต และนาธันผู้พยากรณ์ กับเบไนยาห์บุตรชายเยโฮยาดามาหาเรา" เขาทั้งหลายจึงเข้ามาเฝ้ากษัตริย

นาธันจึงทูลดาวิดว่า "พระองค์นั่นแหละคือชายคนนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลตรัสดังนี้ว่า `เราได้เจิมตั้งเจ้าไว้ให้เป็นกษัตริย์เหนืออิสราเอล และเราช่วยเจ้าให้พ้นจากมือของซาอู

and david's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to nathan, as the lord liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
ดาวิดกริ้วชายคนนั้นมาก และรับสั่งแก่นาธันว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงพระชนม์อยู่แน่ฉันใด ผู้ชายที่กระทำเช่นนั้นจะต้องตายแน

and these were born unto him in jerusalem; shimea, and shobab, and nathan, and solomon, four, of bath-shua the daughter of ammiel:
ต่อไปนี้เป็นโอรสที่ประสูติให้แก่พระองค์ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม คือ ชิเมอา โชบับ นาธันและซาโลมอน สี่องค์นี้พระนางบัทชูวา บุตรสาวของอัมมีเอลประสูต

and he set the levites in the house of the lord with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of david, and of gad the king's seer, and nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the lord by his prophets.
