wives of the prophet! any one of you who commits a flagrant act of misconduct shall be doubly punished. that is easy enough for god.
اے اَزواجِ نبیِ (مکرّم!) تم میں سے کوئی ظاہری معصیت کی مرتکب ہو تو اس کے لئے عذاب دوگنا کر دیا جائے گا، اور یہ اﷲ پر بہت آسان ہے،

o wives of the prophet! whosoever among you commit a flagrant indecency, for her the punishment shall be doubled, that is easy for allah.
اے اَزواجِ نبیِ (مکرّم!) تم میں سے کوئی ظاہری معصیت کی مرتکب ہو تو اس کے لئے عذاب دوگنا کر دیا جائے گا، اور یہ اﷲ پر بہت آسان ہے،

those who affront believing men and believing women without their having deserved it [done any wrong] shall bear the weight of slander and flagrant sin.
اور جو ایمان دار مردوں اور عورتوں کو ناکردہ گناہوں پر ستاتے ہیں سو وہ اپنے سر بہتان اور صریح گناہ لیتے ہیں

and whoso committeth a delinquency or crime, then throweth (the blame) thereof upon the innocent, hath burdened himself with falsehood and a flagrant crime.
اور جو شحص کسی خطا یا گناہ کا ارتکاب کرے پھر اس کی تہمت کسی بے گناہ پرلگا دے تو اس نے یقیناً ایک بہتان اور کھلے گناہ (کے بوجھ) کو اٹھا لیا،

but if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, he carries (on himself) (both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin.
اور جو شحص کسی خطا یا گناہ کا ارتکاب کرے پھر اس کی تہمت کسی بے گناہ پرلگا دے تو اس نے یقیناً ایک بہتان اور کھلے گناہ (کے بوجھ) کو اٹھا لیا،
