in keoldale wollten wir nach cape wrath abbiegen, um den äußersten nordwesten mit den berühmten klippen zu besuchen, doch das ist nicht möglich, da das gebiet von den marinefliegern als bombenabwurfplatz mißbraucht wird. also fütterten wir oberhalb des fährablegers eine sehr zutrauliche möve und fuhren dann weiter nach durness. der strandspaziergang auf "an fharaid" fiel relativ kurz aus, da es wieder mal anfig zu regnen.
