the truth is that hell awaits him who comes to his lord laden with sin ; he shall neither die in it nor live .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

alas for human beings ! they ridicule every messenger that comes to them .
በባሮቹ ላይ ዋ ቁልጭት ! ከመልክተኛ አንድም አይመጣቸውም በእርሱ የሚሳለቁበት ቢኾኑ እንጅ ፡ ፡

whoever comes to his lord guilty , for him is hell , where he neither dies nor lives .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

whoever comes to his lord laden with guilt , for him shall be hell , where he will neither live nor die .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

indeed , he who comes to his lord a sinner shall be consigned to hell ; he shall neither die therein nor live .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

indeed , whoever comes to his lord as a criminal - indeed , for him is hell ; he will neither die therein nor live .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

wait for some time . perhaps he will come to his senses . "
« እርሱ በእርሱ ዕብደት ያለበት ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በእርሱም እስከ ጊዜ ( ሞቱ ) ድረስ ተጠባበቁ » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

on that day , hell will be brought closer and the human being will come to his senses , but this will be of no avail to him .
ገሀነምም በዚያ ቀን በተመጣች ጊዜ በዚያ ቀን ሰው ( ጥፋቱን ) ይገነዘባል ፡ ፡ መገንዘብም ለእርሱ ከየቱ ?

verily he who comes to his lord as a sinner ( at judgment ) , - for him is hell : therein shall he neither die nor live .
እነሆ ከሓዲ ኾኖ ወደ ጌታው የሚመጣ ሰው ለእርሱ ገሀነም አለችው ፡ ፡ በውስጧም አይሞትም ሕያውም አይኾን ፡ ፡

as for one who retaliates to the same extent as he has suffered and then is again wronged , god will surely come to his aid . god is merciful and forgiving .
( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ በእሱ በተበደለበትም ብጤ የተበቀለ ሰው ከዚያም በእርሱ ላይ ግፍ የተዋለበት አላህ በእርግጥ ይረዳዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ ይቅር ባይ መሓሪ ነውና ፡ ፡

such are the ones whom allah has cursed ; and he whom allah curses has none to come to his help .
እነዚያ አላህ የረገማቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም የረገመው ሰው ለእርሱ ፈጽሞ ረዳትን አታገኝለትም ፡ ፡

have they not pondered the matter , or did that come to them , which did not come to their forefathers ?
( የቁርኣንን ) ንግግሩንም አያስተነትኑምን ወይስ ለመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻቸው ያልመጣ ነገር መጣባቸውን

at last we caused the earth to swallow him and his house . thereafter there was no group of people that could come to his aid against allah ; nor was he able to come to his own aid .
በእርሱም በቤቱም ምድርን ደረባን ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚረዱት ጭፍሮች ምንም አልነበሩትም ፡ ፡ ከሚርረዱትም አልነበረም ፡ ፡

the gardens of perpetuity which the beneficent allah has promised to his servants while unseen ; surely his promise shall come to pass .
የመኖሪያን ገነቶች ያችን አልረሕማን ለባሮቹ በሩቅ ኾነው ሳሉ ተስፋ ቃል የገባላቸውን ( ይገባሉ ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ ተስፋው ተፈጻሚ ነውና ፤

clear proofs have come to you from your lord . whoso sees clearly , it is to his own gain , and whoso is blind , it is to his own loss ; i am not a watcher over you .
« ከጌታችሁ ዘንድ ብርሃኖች በእርግጥ መጡላችሁ ፡ ፡ የተመለከተም ሰው ( ጥቅሙ ) ለነፍሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ የታወረም ሰው ( ጉዳቱ ) በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ ጠባቂ አይደለሁም » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

indeed , we sent noah to his people , [ saying ] , " warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment . "
እኛ ኑሕን « ሕዝቦችህን አሳማሚ ቅጣት ሳይመጣባቸው በፊት አስጠንቅቅ በማለት ወደ ሕዝቦቹ ላክነው ፡ ፡ »

we sent noah to his people ( with a mission ) : " i have come to you with a clear warning :
ኑሕንም ወደ ሕዝቦቹ በእርግጥ ላክን ፡ ፡ ( አላቸውም ) ፡ - « እኔ ለእናንተ ግልጽ አስፈራሪ ( አስጠንቃቂ ) ነኝ ፡ ፡ »

in the gardens of eden promised by ar-rahman to his creatures in the unknown ( future ) . verily his promise will come to pass .
የመኖሪያን ገነቶች ያችን አልረሕማን ለባሮቹ በሩቅ ኾነው ሳሉ ተስፋ ቃል የገባላቸውን ( ይገባሉ ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ ተስፋው ተፈጻሚ ነውና ፤

but when he comes to us , he will say ( to his satan ) : “ would that there had been between me and you the distance as between the east and the west . how evil a companion you were ! ”
( በትንሣኤ ) ወደኛ በመጣም ጊዜ ( ቁራኛዬ ሆይ ! ) « በእኔና ባንተ መካከል የምሥራቅና የምዕራብ ርቀት በኖረ ወይ ምኞቴ ! ምን የከፋህ ቁራኛ ነህ » ይላል ፡ ፡

" now have come to you , from your lord , proofs ( to open your eyes ) : if any will see , it will be for ( the good of ) his own soul ; if any will be blind , it will be to his own ( harm ) : i am not ( here ) to watch over your doings . "
« ከጌታችሁ ዘንድ ብርሃኖች በእርግጥ መጡላችሁ ፡ ፡ የተመለከተም ሰው ( ጥቅሙ ) ለነፍሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ የታወረም ሰው ( ጉዳቱ ) በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ ጠባቂ አይደለሁም » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡
