those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression ,
ከዚህም ወዲያ የፈለጉ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and that our foolish one has been saying about allah an excessive transgression .
‹ እነሆም ቂላችን በአላህ ላይ ወሰን ያለፈን ( ውሸት ) ይናገር ነበር ፡ ፡ ›

thamud denied [ their prophet ] by reason of their transgression ,
ሠሙድ ወሰን በማለፍዋ አስተባበለች ፡ ፡

ኃጢአትን የሚያደርግ ሁሉ ዓመፅን ደግሞ ያደርጋል፥ ኃጢአትም ዓመፅ ነው።

should we withdraw the admonition from you because you are a people far gone in transgression ?
ድንበር አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ለመኾናችሁ ቁርኣኑን ከእናንተ ማገድን እናግዳለን ?

« ጌታችን ሆይ ! እኛ በእኛ ላይ ክፋት በመሥራት መቸኮሉን ወይም ኩራትን መጨመሩን እንፈራለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

ወሰን በማለፍና በመበደልም ይህንን የሠራ ሰው እሳትን እናገባዋለን ፡ ፡ ይኸም በአላህ ላይ ገር ነው ፡ ፡

and as for the boy , his parents were believers , and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief .
« ወጣቱም ልጅማ ወላጆቹ ምእመናን ነበሩ ፡ ፡ ( ቢያድግ ) ትእቢትንና ክህደትንም የሚያስገድዳቸው መኾኑን ፈራን ፡ ፡

and even if we gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction , they would persist in their transgression , wandering blindly .
ባዘንንላቸውና ከጉዳትም በእነርሱ ያለውን ባነሳንላቸው ኖሮ በጥመታቸው ውስጥ የሚዋልሉ ኾነው ይዘወትሩ ነበር ፡ ፡

[ but ] allah mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [ while ] they wander blindly .
አላህ በነሱ ይሳለቅባቸዋል ፤ በጥመታቸውም ውስጥ የሚዋልሉ ሲኾኑ ያዘገያቸዋል ፡ ፡

and thou shalt see many of them hastening toward sin and transgression and their devouring of the forbidden . vile indeed is that which they have been doing !
ከእነርሱም ብዙዎቹን በኃጢአትና በበደል እርምንም በመብላታቸው የሚጣደፉ ሲኾኑ ታያለህ ፡ ፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በጣም ከፋ !

and never offer prayer for any one of them who dies and do not stand by his grave ; surely they disbelieve in allah and his apostle and they shall die in transgression .
ከእነሱም በአንድም በሞተ ሰው ላይ ፈጽሞ አትስገድ ፡ ፡ በመቃብሩም ላይ አትቁም ፡ ፡ እነሱ አላህንና መልክተኛውን ክደዋልና ፡ ፡ እነሱም አመጸኞች ኾነው ሞተዋልና ፡ ፡

surely there came to them narratives ( of the ancient nations ) that should suffice to deter ( them from transgression ) ,
ከዜናዎችም በእርሱ ውስጥ መገሰጥ ያለበት ነገር በእርግጥ መጣላቸው ፡ ፡

a sacred month for a sacred month : violation of sanctity calls for fair retribution . thus you may exact retribution from whoever transgresses against you , in proportion to his transgression .
የተከበረው ወር በተከበረው ወር አንጻር ነው ፡ ፡ ክብሮችም ሁሉ ተመሳሳዮች ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእናንተም ላይ ( በተከበረው ወር ) ወሰን ያለፈባችሁን ሰው በናንተ ላይ ወሰን ባለፈው ብጤ በርሱ ላይ ወሰን እለፉበት ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ አላህ ከሚፈሩት ጋር መኾኑንም ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

not so ; whoso earns evil , and is encompassed by his transgression -- those are the inhabitants of the fire ; there they shall dwell forever .
አይደለም ( ትነካችኋለች ) ፤ መጥፎን ( ክሕደትን ) የሠራ በርሱም ኃጠኣቱ የከበበችው ሰው እነዚያ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

cursed were the unbelievers of the children of israel by the tongue of david , and jesus , mary 's son ; that , for their rebelling and their transgression .
ከእስራኤል ልጆች እነዚያ የካዱት በዳውድና በመርየም ልጅ በዒሳ ምላስ ተረገሙ ፡ ፡ ይህ ትእዛዝን በመጣሳቸውና ወሰንን የሚያልፉ በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡
