and niggardly when good touches him ;

he is not niggardly of the unseen .
और वह ग़ैब की बातों के ज़ाहिर करने में बख़ील नहीं

but when they are fortunate , they become niggardly
और जब उसे ज़रा फराग़ी हासिल हुई तो बख़ील बन बैठा

but for those who are niggardly , horde their wealth ,
रहा वह व्यक्ति जिसने कंजूसी की और बेपरवाही बरती ,

and whenever good fortune comes to him , he grows niggardly .
और जब उसे ज़रा फराग़ी हासिल हुई तो बख़ील बन बैठा

and as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need ,
रहा वह व्यक्ति जिसने कंजूसी की और बेपरवाही बरती ,

do not be niggardly , nor extravagant that you may later feel reprehensive and constrained .
और अपने हाथ को न तो गर्दन से बँधा हुआ कर लो और न बिल्कुल खोल दो कि सब कुछ दे डालो और आख़िर तुम को मलामत ज़दा हसरत से बैठना पड़े

but when he bestowed his favours on them they grew niggardly , and turned away in aversion .
तो जब ख़ुदा ने अपने फज़ल से उन्हें अता फरमाया - तो लगे उसमें बुख्ल करने और कतराकर मुंह फेरने

then , when he gave them out of his bounty , they grew niggardly and turned their backs .

but when his favors were bestowed on them , they became niggardly and in disregard broke their promise .

if he were to ask you for your possessions and press you , you would have grown niggardly , and allah would have brought your failings to light .
