ምን አለ? ቢሆንም በሁሉ ጎዳና፥ በማመካኘት ቢሆን ወይም በቅንነት ቢሆን፥ ክርስቶስ ይሰበካል ስለዚህም ደስ ብሎኛል።
what then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, christ is preached; and i therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

በመልእክቴ ያሳዘንኋችሁ ብሆን እንኳ አልጸጸትም፤ የተጸጸትሁ ብሆን እንኳ፥ ያ መልእክት ጥቂት ጊዜ ብቻ እንዳሳዘናችሁ አያለሁና አሁን ለንስሐ ስላዘናችሁ ደስ ብሎኛል እንጂ ስላዘናችሁ አይደለም፤
for though i made you sorry with a letter, i do not repent, though i did repent: for i perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
