Երբ եկան ժամը հինգի մօտ վարձուածները, իւրաքանչիւրը մէկ դահեկան ստացաւ:
and when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

Առաջիններն էլ գալով՝ կարծում էին, թէ աւելի կը ստանան, բայց նրանք էլ իւրաքանչիւրը մէկ դահեկան ստացան:
but when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

Ողջ ժողովուրդը, տեսնելով վրանի դռան մօտ կանգնած ամպի սիւնը, ոտքի էր կանգնում, իւրաքանչիւրը երկրպագում էր իր վրանի դռան մօտ:
and all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.

Այնտեղ կային քարէ վեց թակոյկներ՝ հրեաների սովորութեան համաձայն մաքրուելու համար. նրանցից իւրաքանչիւրը շուրջ հարիւր լիտր տարողութիւն ունէր:
and there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

Երբ բոլոր ուղտերը յագեցան, մարդը նրան տուեց ոսկէ գինդեր՝ իւրաքանչիւրը մէկ դահեկանի քաշով, եւ տասը դահեկանի քաշով երկու ապարանջան դրեց նրա ձեռքերին:
and it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;

Եթէ մի ընտանիքի անդամները այնքան քիչ են, որ չեն կարող մէկ ոչխար ուտել, ապա ընտանիքի մեծը, ըստ ընտանիքի թուի թող միանայ իր հարեւանի կամ ընկերոջ հետ, եւ իւրաքանչիւրը թող ստանայ ոչխարի համապատասխան բաժինը:
and if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

Չափեցին եւ տեսան, որ ումը որ շատ էր, սահմանուած չափից չաւելացաւ, իսկ ումը՝ քիչ, սահմանուած չափից չպակասեց: Իւրաքանչիւրը իր կարիքի չափով էր հաւաքել:
and when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

(որովհետեւ հարկաւոր էր իւրաքանչիւր տօնի առթիւ մի բանտարկեալ արձակել նրանց համար):
(for of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)
