etwa 45 kilometer westlich von innsbruck mündet die Ötztaler ache in einer bergsturzlandschaft des tschirgant, zwischen haiming und roppen in etwa 670 meter seehöhe in den inn.
the northern end of the valley is at the confluence of the Ötztaler ache and inn rivers, 8 km east of imst and 50 km west of innsbruck.

mit etwas glück können sie von dort bei schönwetter das inntal von telfs bis hinauf nach karres, das mieminger plateau, den tschirgant, den acherkogel und den pirchkogel sehen.

vom "sattele" (=anhöhe/Übergang auf der straße zwischen haiming und ochsengarten) wandern sie zur feldring alm. von der feldring alm kommen sie bei leicht bis mittlerem anstieg in kurzer zeit zum faltegartenköpfl auf 2.184 m. mit etwas glück können sie von dort bei schönwetter das inntal von telfs bis hinauf nach karres, das mieminger plateau, den tschirgant, den acherkogel und den pirchkogel sehen.
from "sattele" area (= elevation on the road between haiming and ochsengarten) you walk towards feldring alm. an easy to intermediate ascent takes you from feldring alm up to 2,184 m tall faltegartenköpfl. in clear weather you can enjoy the awe-inspiring panorama of the inntal valley and telfs, further on to karres, mieminger plateau, tschirgant massif, acherkogel peak and pirchkogel summit.
