በእውነቱ የእውነተኞቹ ምእምናን መጽሐፍ በዒሊዮን ውስጥ ነው ፡ ፡

then crack the soil open .
ከዚያም ምድርን ( በደካማ ቡቃያ ) መሰንጠቅን የሰነጠቅን ፤

and assuredly we elected them with knowledge above the worlds .
ከማወቅም ጋር በዓለማት ላይ በእርግጥ መረጥናቸው ፡ ፡

have you considered the soil you till ?
የምትዘሩትንም አያችሁን ?

and certainly we chose them , having knowledge , above the nations .

children of israel , remember the favors i have bestowed on you , and that i have preferred you ( the prophets among you ) above the worlds .
የእስራኤል ልጆች ሆይ ! ያችን በናንተ ላይ የለገስኳትን ጸጋዬንና እኔም በዓለማት ላይ ያበለጥኳችሁ ( አባቶቻችሁን በጊዜያቸው ከነበሩት ዓለማት ያበለጥኩዋቸው ) መኾኔን አስታውሱ ፡ ፡

" have you not seen that god has created the seven heavens one above the other
አላህ ሰባትን ሰማያት አንዱ ካንዱ በላይ ሲኾን እንዴት እንደፈጠረ አታዩምን ?

and ishmael , elisha , jonah and lot . each we preferred above the worlds ,
ኢስማዒልንም ፣ አልየስዕንም ፣ ዩኑስንም ፣ ሉጥንም ( መራን ) ፡ ፡ ሁሉንም በዓለማት ላይ አበለጥናቸውም ፡ ፡

and ismai 'l and alyas 'a and yunus and lut : each one of them we preferred above the worlds .
ኢስማዒልንም ፣ አልየስዕንም ፣ ዩኑስንም ፣ ሉጥንም ( መራን ) ፡ ፡ ሁሉንም በዓለማት ላይ አበለጥናቸውም ፡ ፡

and we chose them ( the children of israel ) above the ' alamin ( mankind , and jinns ) [ during the time of musa ( moses ) ] with knowledge ,
ከማወቅም ጋር በዓለማት ላይ በእርግጥ መረጥናቸው ፡ ፡

( have they not seen ) how we have spread out the earth , placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow ?
ምድርንም ዘረጋናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ጋራዎችን ጣልንባት ፡ ፡ በውስጧም ከሚያስደስት ዓይነት ሁሉ አበቀልን ፡ ፡

allah chose adam , nuh ( noah ) , the family of ibrahim ( abraham ) and the family of ' imran above the ' alamin ( mankind and jinns ) ( of their times ) .
አላህ አደምን ፣ ኑሕንም ፣ የኢብራሂምንም ቤተሰብ ፣ የዒምራንንም ቤተሰብ በዓለማት ላይ መረጠ ፡ ፡

and assuredly . we vouchsafed unto the children of israil the book and the wisdom and the propherhood , and we provided them with good things and preferred them above the worlds .
ለእስራኤል ልጆችም መጽሐፍንና ሕግን ፣ ነቢይነትንም በእርግጥ ሰጠናቸው ፡ ፡ ከመልካም ሲሳዮችም ለገስንላቸው ፡ ፡ በዓለማት ላይም አበለጥናቸው ፡ ፡

he said : shall i seek for you a god other than allah , whereas he hath preferred you above the worlds ?
« ከአላህ ሌላ እርሱ ከዓለማት ያበለጣችሁ ሲኾን ( የምትገዙት ) አምላክን እፈልግላችኋለሁን » አለ ፡ ፡

and isma 'il and elisha , and jonas , and lot : and to all we gave favour above the nations :
ኢስማዒልንም ፣ አልየስዕንም ፣ ዩኑስንም ፣ ሉጥንም ( መራን ) ፡ ፡ ሁሉንም በዓለማት ላይ አበለጥናቸውም ፡ ፡

it is god who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel . he has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants .
( እርሱ ) ያ ምድርን ለእናንተ ምንጣፍ ያደረገላችሁ ፣ በእርሷም ውስጥ ለእናንተ መንገድን ያገራላችሁ ፣ ውሃንም ከሰማይ ያወረደ ነው ( አለ ) ፡ ፡ በርሱም ከተለያየ በቃይ ዓይነቶችን አወጣንላችሁ ፡ ፡

all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them , and all that is underneath the soil .
በሰማያት ያለው ፣ በምድርም ያለው ፣ በመካከላቸውም ያለው ፣ ከዐፈር በታችም ያለው ሁሉ የርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡
