in the name of allah , most benevolent , ever-merciful .
በአላህ ስም እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩህ በጣም አዛኝ በኾነው ፡ ፡

eat then of that over which the name of allah has been mentioned ( when slaughtered ) , if you truly believe in his verses .
በአንቀጾቹም አማኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ሲታረድ ) የአላህ ስም በእርሱ ላይ ከተወሳበት እንስሳ ብሉ ፡ ፡

eat of that over which the name of allah hath been mentioned , if ye are believers in his revelations .
በአንቀጾቹም አማኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ሲታረድ ) የአላህ ስም በእርሱ ላይ ከተወሳበት እንስሳ ብሉ ፡ ፡

in the name of allah is its sailing and its anchorage . my lord is ever forgiving , most merciful .
« መሄዷም መቆሟም በአላህ ስም ነው እያላችሁም በውስጧ ተሳፈሩ ፡ ፡ ጌታ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና » አላቸው ፡ ፡

in the name of allah be its course and its mooring . lo ! my lord is forgiving , merciful .
« መሄዷም መቆሟም በአላህ ስም ነው እያላችሁም በውስጧ ተሳፈሩ ፡ ፡ ጌታ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና » አላቸው ፡ ፡

surely it is from sulaiman , and surely it is in the name of allah , the beneficent , the merciful ;
« እርሱ ከሱለይማን ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም በአላህ ስም እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩኅ በጣም አዛኝ በኾነው ፡ ፡

" it is from solomon , and is ( as follows ) : ' in the name of allah , most gracious , most merciful :
« እርሱ ከሱለይማን ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም በአላህ ስም እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩኅ በጣም አዛኝ በኾነው ፡ ፡

it is from sulaiman ( solomon ) , and verily ! it ( reads ) : in the name of allah , the most beneficent , the most merciful ;
« እርሱ ከሱለይማን ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱም በአላህ ስም እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩኅ በጣም አዛኝ በኾነው ፡ ፡

do not eat from that which the name of allah has not been mentioned , for it is a sin . the satans will reveal to their guided ones to argue with you .
በእርሱም ላይ የአላህ ስም ካልተጠራበት ነገር አትብሉ ፡ ፡ እርሱም በእርግጥ አመጽ ነው ፡ ፡ ሰይጣናትም ወደ ወዳጆቻቸው ( በክትን በመብላት ) ይከራከሯችሁ ዘንድ ያሾከሹካሉ ፡ ፡ ብትታዘዙዋቸውም እናንተ በእርግጥ አጋሪዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

and who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of allah from being mentioned in his mosques and strive toward their destruction . it is not for them to enter them except in fear .
የአላህንም መስጊዶች በውስጣቸው ስሙ እንዳይወሳ ከከለከለና እርሷንም በማበላሸት ከሮጠ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው ? እነዚያ ፈሪዎች ኾነው እንጂ ለእነርሱ በቅርቢቱ ዓለም ውርደት አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ አገር ታላቅ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

and he said : embark in it , in the name of allah be its sailing and its anchoring ; most surely my lord is forgiving , merciful .
« መሄዷም መቆሟም በአላህ ስም ነው እያላችሁም በውስጧ ተሳፈሩ ፡ ፡ ጌታ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and for every nation have we appointed a ritual , that they may mention the name of allah over the beast of cattle that he hath given them for food ; and your god is one god , therefor surrender unto him . and give good tidings ( o muhammad ) to the humble ,
ለሕዝብም ሁሉ ( ወደ አላህ ) መስዋዕት ማቅረብን ደነገግን ፡ ፡ ከቤት እንስሳት በሰጣቸው ሲሳይ ላይ የአላህን ስም ብቻ ያወሱ ዘንድ ( አዘዝናቸው ) ፡ ፡ አምላካችሁም አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ብቻ ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ ለአላህ ተዋራጆችንም አብስራቸው ፡ ፡

" that they may witness the benefits ( provided ) for them , and celebrate the name of allah , through the days appointed , over the cattle which he has provided for them ( for sacrifice ) : then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want .
ለእነሱ የሆኑ ጥቅሞችን ይጣዱ ዘንድ በታወቁ ቀኖችም ውስጥ ከለማዳ እንስሳዎች በሰጣቸው ሲሳይ ላይ የአላህን ስም ያወሱ ዘንድ ( ይመጡሃል ) ፡ ፡ ከርሷም ብሉ ፡ ፡ ችግረኛ ድሃንም አብሉ ፡ ፡

( they are ) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right , - ( for no cause ) except that they say , " our lord is allah " . did not allah check one set of people by means of another , there would surely have been pulled down monasteries , churches , synagogues , and mosques , in which the name of allah is commemorated in abundant measure .
ለእነዚያ « ጌታችን አላህ ነው » ከማለታቸው በስተቀር ያለ አግባብ ከአገራቸው የተባረሩ ለሆኑት ( ተፈቀደ ) ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰዎችን ከፊላቸውን በከፊሉ መገፍተሩ ባልነበረ ኖሮ ገዳማት ፣ ቤተክርስቲያኖችም ፣ ምኩራቦችም በውስጣቸው የአላህ ስም በብዛት የሚወሳባቸው መስጊዶችም ፤ በተፈረሱ ነበር ፡ ፡ አላህም ሃይማኖቱን የሚረዳውን ሰው በእርግጥ ይረዳዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ ብርቱ አሸናፊ ነውና ፡ ፡
