ጣዖትንም ራቅ ፡ ፡

and upon her forehead was a name written, mystery, babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.
በግምባርዋም ምስጢር የሆነ ስም። ታላቂቱ ባቢሎን፥ የጋለሞታዎችና የምድር ርኵሰት እናት ተብሎ ተጻፈ።

and unto lot we gave judgment and knowledge , and we delivered him from the community that did abominations . lo ! they were folk of evil , lewd .
ሉጥንም ፍርድንና ዕውቀትን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያችም መጥፎ ሥራዎችን ትሠራ ከነበረችው ከተማ አዳንነው ፡ ፡ እነሱ ክፉ ሰዎች አመጸኞች ነበሩና ፡ ፡

and lot — we gave him judgment and knowledge , and we delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations . they were wicked and perverted people .
ሉጥንም ፍርድንና ዕውቀትን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያችም መጥፎ ሥራዎችን ትሠራ ከነበረችው ከተማ አዳንነው ፡ ፡ እነሱ ክፉ ሰዎች አመጸኞች ነበሩና ፡ ፡

and his people came rushing towards him , and they had been long in the habit of practising abominations . he said : " o my people !
ሕዝቦቹም ወደርሱ እየተጣደፉ መጡት ፡ ፡ ከዚህም በፊት መጥፎ ሥራዎችን ይሠሩ ነበር ፡ ፡ « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! እኝህ ሴቶች ልጆቼ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ ለእናንተ ይልቅ በጣም የጸዱ ናቸው ፤ ( አግቧቸው ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ በእንግዶቼም አታሳፍሩኝ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ውስጥ ቅን ሰው የለምን » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
ሴቲቱም በቀይና በሐምራዊ ልብስ ተጐናጽፋ በወርቅና በከበሩ ድንጋዮች በዕንቈችም ተሸልማ ነበር፥ በእጅዋም የሚያስጸይፍ ነገር የዝሙትዋም ርኵሰት የሞላባትን የወርቅ ጽዋ ያዘች፤

intoxicants , games of chance , idolatrous sacrifices at altars , and divining arrows are all abominations , the handiwork of satan . so turn wholly away from it that you may attain to true success .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! የሚያሰክር መጠጥ ቁማርም ጣዖታትም አዝላምም ከሰይጣን ሥራ የኾኑ እርኩስ ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ( እርኩስን ) ራቁትም ልትድኑ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

and to lut , too , we gave judgment and knowledge , and we saved him from the town which practised abominations : truly they were a people given to evil , a rebellious people .
ሉጥንም ፍርድንና ዕውቀትን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያችም መጥፎ ሥራዎችን ትሠራ ከነበረችው ከተማ አዳንነው ፡ ፡ እነሱ ክፉ ሰዎች አመጸኞች ነበሩና ፡ ፡

they are those who avoid enormities of sin and abominations save the minor offences . verily thy lord is of vast for giveness : he is best knower of you when he produced you out of the earth , and when ye were embryos in the bellies of your mothers .
( እነርሱ ) እነዚያ የኃጢኣትን ታላለቆችና አስጸያፊዎቹን የሚርቁ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ግን ትናንሾቹ የሚማሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ጌታህ ምሕረተ ሰፊ ነውና ፡ ፡ ከምድር በፈጠራችሁ ጊዜ እናንተም በእናቶቻችሁ ሆዶች ውስጥ ሽሎች በኾናችሁ ጊዜ እርሱ በናንተ ( ኹነታ ) ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻችሁንም አታወድሱ እርሱ የሚፈራውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

allah enjoineth justice and kindness , and giving to kinsfolk , and forbiddeth lewdness and abomination and wickedness . he exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed .
አላህ በማስተካከል ፣ በማሳመርም ፣ ለዝምድና ባለቤት በመስጠትም ያዛል ፡ ፡ ከአስከፊም ( ከማመንዘር ) ፣ ከሚጠላም ነገር ሁሉ ፣ ከመበደልም ይከለክላል ፡ ፡ ትገነዘቡ ዘንድ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡
