« እርሷ ( ሞት ሕይወቴን ) ምነው ፈጻሚ በኾነች ፡ ፡

it was the evildoers who led us astray ,
አመጸኞቹም እንጅ ሌላ አላሳሳተንም ፡ ፡

and it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
በሰቀሉትም ጊዜ ሦስት ሰዓት ነበረ።

and he will conclude that it was ( the time ) of parting ;
( ሕመምተኛው ) እርሱ ( የሰፈረበት ነገር ከዚህ ዓለም ) መልለየት መኾኑን ባረጋገጠም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and it was the sabbath day when jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
ኢየሱስም ጭቃ አድርጎ ዓይኖቹን የከፈተበት ቀን ሰንበት ነበረ።

so the punishment of the day of gloom gripped them . it was the punishment of a great day .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ የጥላይቷ ቀን ቅጣትም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ የከባድ ቀን ቅጣት ነበርና ፡ ፡

and now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
አሁንም በመሸ ጊዜ የሰንበት ዋዜማ የሆነ የማዘጋጀት ቀን ስለ ነበረ፥ የከበረ አማካሪ የሆነ የአርማትያስ ዮሴፍ መጣ፥

the prophet cannot be blamed for carrying out the commands of god . it was the tradition of god with those who lived before .
በነቢዩ ላይ አላህ ለእርሱ በፈረደው ነገር ምንም ችግር ሊኖርበት አይገባም ፡ ፡ በእነዚያ ከዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ነቢያት ) አላህ ደነገገው ፡ ፡ የአላህም ትእዛዝ የተፈረደ ፍርድ ነው ፡ ፡

then they branded him a liar , whereupon the chastisement of the day of canopy overtook them . it was the chastisement of a very awesome day .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ የጥላይቷ ቀን ቅጣትም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ የከባድ ቀን ቅጣት ነበርና ፡ ፡

and they denied him , so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them . indeed , it was the punishment of a terrible day .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ የጥላይቷ ቀን ቅጣትም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ የከባድ ቀን ቅጣት ነበርና ፡ ፡

but they cried him lies ; then there seized them the chastisement of the day of shadow ; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ የጥላይቷ ቀን ቅጣትም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ የከባድ ቀን ቅጣት ነበርና ፡ ፡

and before it was the scripture of moses to lead and as a mercy . and this is a confirming book in an arabic tongue to warn those who have wronged and as good tidings to the doers of good .
ከበፊቱም የሙሳ መጽሐፍ መሪና ጸጋ ሲኾን አልለ ፡ ፡ ይህም እነዚያን የበደሉትን ሊያስፈራራ በዐረብኛ ቋንቋ ሲኾን ( የፊቶቹን መጻሕፍት ) አረጋጋጭ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ለበጎ አድራጊዎችም ብስራት ነው ፡ ፡

and he ( the dying person ) will conclude that it was ( the time ) of departing ( death ) ;
( ሕመምተኛው ) እርሱ ( የሰፈረበት ነገር ከዚህ ዓለም ) መልለየት መኾኑን ባረጋገጠም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

there can be no difficulty to the prophet in what allah has indicated to him as a duty . it was the practice ( approved ) of allah amongst those of old that have passed away .
በነቢዩ ላይ አላህ ለእርሱ በፈረደው ነገር ምንም ችግር ሊኖርበት አይገባም ፡ ፡ በእነዚያ ከዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ነቢያት ) አላህ ደነገገው ፡ ፡ የአላህም ትእዛዝ የተፈረደ ፍርድ ነው ፡ ፡

and before it was the book of moses , a model and a mercy . and this is a confirming book , in the arabic language , to warn those who do wrong and good news — for the doers of good .
ከበፊቱም የሙሳ መጽሐፍ መሪና ጸጋ ሲኾን አልለ ፡ ፡ ይህም እነዚያን የበደሉትን ሊያስፈራራ በዐረብኛ ቋንቋ ሲኾን ( የፊቶቹን መጻሕፍት ) አረጋጋጭ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ለበጎ አድራጊዎችም ብስራት ነው ፡ ፡

and the water abated ; and fulfilled was the decree . and it rested upon the judi ; and it was said : away with the wrong-doing people !
ተባለም ፡ - « ምድር ሆይ ! ውሃሽን ዋጪ ፡ ፡ ሰማይም ሆይ ( ዝናብሽን ) ያዢ ፡ ፡ ውሃውም ሰረገ ፡ ፡ ቅጣቱም ተፈጸም ፡ ፡ ጁዲይ በሚባልም ተራራ ላይ ( መርከቢቱ ) ተደላደለች ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎችም ሰዎች ጥፋት ተገባቸው ( ጠፉ ) » ተባለ ፡ ፡

as for those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met , it was the satan who made them slip because of something they had earned ; and of a surety allah hath pardoned them . verily , allah is forgiving , forbearing .
እነዚያ ሁለቱ ጭፍሮች በተገናኙ ቀን ከእናንተ የሸሹት ሰዎች በዚያ በሠሩት ከፊል ምክንያት ያሳሳታቸው ሰይጣን ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከነሱ በእርግጥ ይቅር አለ ፡ ፡ አላህ መሓሪ በቅጣት የማይቸኩል ነውና ፡ ፡

and they followed what the devils pursued during solomon s reign ’ — and solomon was not faithless but it was the devils who were faithless teaching — the people magic and what was sent down to the two angels at babylon , harut and marut , who would not teach anyone without telling [ him ] , ‘ we are only a test , so do not be faithless . ’ but they would learn from those two that with which they would cause a split between man and his wife — though they could not harm anyone with it except with allah s ’ leave .
ሰይጣናትም በሱለይማን ( ሰሎሞን ) ዘመነ መንግስት የሚያነቡትን ( ድግምት ) ተከተሉ ፡ ፡ ሱለይማንም አልካደም ፤ ( ድግምተኛ አልነበረም ) ፤ ግን ሰይጣናት ሰዎችን ድግምትን የሚያስተምሩ ሲኾኑ ካዱ ፡ ፡ ያንንም በባቢል በሁለቱ መላእክት በሃሩትና ማሩት ላይ የተወረደውን ነገር ( ያስተምሩዋቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ « እኛ መፈተኛ ነንና አትካድ » እስከሚሉም ድረስ አንድንም አያስተምሩም ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በሰውየውና በሚስቱ መካከል በርሱ የሚለዩበትን ነገር ይማራሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በአላህ ፈቃድ ካልኾነ በርሱ አንድንም ጎጂዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡ የሚጎዳቸውንና የማይጠቅማቸውንም ይማራሉ ፡ ፡ የገዛውም ሰው ለርሱ በመጨረሻይቱ አገር ምንም እድል የሌለው መኾኑን በእርግጥ ዐወቁ ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻቸውንም በርሱ የሸጡበት ዋጋ ከፋ ! የሚያውቁ በኾኑ ኖሮ ( ባልሠሩት ነበር ) ፡ ፡
