we are enough for you against the mockers .
ተሳላቂዎችን ሁሉ እኛ በቅተንሃል ፡ ፡

unshading against the blazing flame
አጠላይ ያልኾነ ከእሳቱም ላንቃ የማያድን ወደ ኾነው ( አዝግሙ ) ፡ ፡

we suffice thee against the mockers ,
ተሳላቂዎችን ሁሉ እኛ በቅተንሃል ፡ ፡

even though you are so eager , most people will not believe .
አብዛኛዎቹም ሰዎች ( ለማመናቸው ) ብትጓጓም የሚያምኑ አይደሉም ፡ ፡

against the evil of whatever he has created .
« ከፈጠረው ፍጡር ሁሉ ክፋት ፡ ፡

against the evil of the temptations of the satans ,
« ብቅ እልም ባይ ከኾነው ጎትጓች ( ሰይጣን ) ክፋት ፡ ፡

however hard you try , most people will not believe .
አብዛኛዎቹም ሰዎች ( ለማመናቸው ) ብትጓጓም የሚያምኑ አይደሉም ፡ ፡

behold ! they sat over against the ( fire ) ,
እነርሱ በርሷ ( አፋፍ ) ላይ ተቀማጮች በኾኑ ጊዜ ፤ ( ተረገሙ ) ፡ ፡

neither shady nor of any avail against the flames .
አጠላይ ያልኾነ ከእሳቱም ላንቃ የማያድን ወደ ኾነው ( አዝግሙ ) ፡ ፡

but most people , for all your eagerness , are not believers .
አብዛኛዎቹም ሰዎች ( ለማመናቸው ) ብትጓጓም የሚያምኑ አይደሉም ፡ ፡

and then we will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the most compassionate lord ,
ከዚያም ከየጭፍሮቹ ሁሉ ከእነርሱ ያንን ( እርሱ ) በአልረሕማን ላይ በድፍረት በጣም ብርቱ የኾነውን እናወጣለን ፡ ፡

he said : my lord ! help me against the mischievous people .
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በአመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ላይ እርዳኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

and most of them follow not except assumption . indeed , assumption avails not against the truth at all .
አብዛኞቻቸውም ጥርጣሬን እንጂ አይከተሉም ፡ ፡ ጥርጣሬ ከእውነት ምንም አያብቃቃም ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and most of them follow nothing but conjecture . certainly , conjecture can be of no avail against the truth .
አብዛኞቻቸውም ጥርጣሬን እንጂ አይከተሉም ፡ ፡ ጥርጣሬ ከእውነት ምንም አያብቃቃም ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and we are most surely they who declare the glory ( of allah ) .
እኛም ( አላህን ) አጥሪዎቹ እኛ ነን ፡ ፡

he prayed , " lord help me against the evil-doing people . "
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በአመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ላይ እርዳኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

the promise of god god — never breaks his promise , but most people do not know .
አላህ እርዳታን ቀጠረ ፡ ፡ አላህ ቀጠሮውን አያፈርስም ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያውቁም ፡ ፡

o ye who believe ! befriend not a people against whom allah is wroth . surely they have despaired of the hereafter even as have despaired the entombed of the infidels .
እላንተ ያመናቸሁ ሆይ ! አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ የተቆጣባቸውን ሕዝቦች አትወዳጁ ፡ ፡ ከሓዲዎች ከመቃብር ሰዎች ተስፋ እንደቆረጡ ከመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ( ምንዳ ) በእርግጥ ተስፋ ቆርጠዋል ፡ ፡

" o lord , help me against the wicked people , " ( lot ) prayed .
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በአመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ላይ እርዳኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men , but most people do not know
ሰማያትንና ምድርን መፍጠር ሰዎችን ከመፍጠር ይልቅ ታላቅ ነው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያውቁም ፡ ፡
