as you are looking on .
እናንተ ያን ጊዜ የምታዩ ስትኾኑ ፡ ፡

knowing all what you may do .
የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ የሚያውቁ ፡ ፡

as you reside in this town ;
አንተ በዚህ አገር ሰፋሪ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

that you may not transgress in the balance ,
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

and you ride on them as you do in ships .
በእርሷም ላይ በመርከብም ላይ ትጫናላችሁ ፡ ፡

and you make strong fortresses that perhaps you may
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

in order that you may not corrupt the balance .
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

apart from him . contrive against me as much as you like , and give me no respite .
ከእርሱ ሌላ ( አማልክትን ከምታጋሩት ንጹህ ነኝ ) ፡ ፡ ሁላችሁም ሆናችሁ ተንኮልን ሥሩብኝ ፤ ከዚያም አታቆዩኝ ፡ ፡

and we created pairs of everything that you may contemplate .
ትገነዘቡም ዘንድ ከነገሩ ሁሉ ሁለት ( ተቃራኒ ) ዓይነትን ፈጠርን ፡ ፡

believers , take care of your own souls . the misguided cannot harm you as long as you are guided .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ከእሳት ) ያዙ ፤ ( ጠብቁ ) ፡ ፡ በተመራችሁ ጊዜ የተሳሳተ ሰው አይጎዳችሁም ፡ ፡ የሁላችሁም መመለሻ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል ፡ ፡

by allah , i will certainly outwit your idols as soon as you have turned your backs and gone '
« በአላህም እምላለሁ ዟሪዎች ኾናችሁ ከሄዳችሁ በኋላ ጣዖቶቻችሁን ተንኮል እሠራባቸዋለሁ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

as you look on , you will see there bliss and a great kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

tell the unbelievers , " do as you wish and i will do as i believe .
ለእነዚያም ለማያምኑት ባላችሁበት ሁኔታ ላይ ሥሩ ፤ እኛ ሠሪዎች ነንና በላቸው ፡ ፡

and that they thought as you think , that allah would not raise anyone :
‹ እነርሱም አላህ አንድንም አይቀሰቅስም ማለትን እንደጠረጠራችሁ ጠረጠሩ ፡ ፡ ›

and they thought , even as you also thought , that god would never raise up anyone .
‹ እነርሱም አላህ አንድንም አይቀሰቅስም ማለትን እንደጠረጠራችሁ ጠረጠሩ ፡ ፡ ›

lo ! we have placed all that is on the earth as an ornament thereof that we may try them : which of them is best in conduct .
እኛ ማንኛቸው ሥራው ያማረ መኾኑን ልንፈትናቸው በምድር ላይ ያለን ሁሉ ለእርሷ ጌጥ አደረግን ፤

and who created the pairs , all of them , and appointed for you ships and cattle such as you ride ,
ያም ዓይነቶችን ሁሉ የፈጠረ ለእናንተም ከመርከቦችና ከቤት እንስሳዎች የምትጋልቧቸውን ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡

and when we parted the sea with you , and we delivered you and drowned pharaoh s ’ clan as you looked on .
በናንተም ምክንያት ባሕሩን በከፈልን ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም አዳንናችሁ ፡ ፡ የፈርዖንንም ቤተሰቦች እናንተ የምትመለከቱ ኾናችሁ አሰጠምናቸው ፡ ፡
