ጩኸቲቱን በእውነት የሚሰሙበት ቀን ያ ( ከመቃብር ) የመውጫው ቀን ነው ፡ ፡

and created the jinn out of a flame of a fire .
ጃንንም ከእሳት ከኾነ ነበልባል ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

and in the sky is your provision and what you are promised .
ሲሳያችሁም የምትቀጠሩትም ( ፍዳና ምንዳ ) በሰማይ ውስጥ ነው ፡ ፡

and we created the jinn earlier , out of a piercing fire .
ጃንንም ( ከሰው ) በፊት ከእሳት ነበልባል ፈጠርነው ፡ ፡

and we chose them , out of a knowledge above the nations ( of their time ) .
ከማወቅም ጋር በዓለማት ላይ በእርግጥ መረጥናቸው ፡ ፡

and we chose them , out of a knowledge , above all beings ,
ከማወቅም ጋር በዓለማት ላይ በእርግጥ መረጥናቸው ፡ ፡

certainly we have appointed houses in the sky and adorned them for the onlookers ,
በሰማይም ላይ ቡርጆችን በእርግጥ አድርገናል ፡ ፡ ለተመልካቾችም ( በከዋክብት ) አጊጠናታል ፡ ፡

created man , out of a ( mere ) clot of congealed blood :
ሰውን ከረጋ ደም በፈጠረው ( ጌታህ ስም ) ፡ ፡

and in the shadow of a burning smoke .
ከጥቁር ጭስም በኾነ ጥላ ውስጥ ፡ ፡

a group of the pagans walked out of a meeting with the prophet and told the others , " let us walk away . be steadfast in the worship of your gods .
ከእነርሱም መኳንንቶቹ « ሂዱ ፤ በአማልክቶቻችሁም ( መግገዛት ) ላይ ታገሱ ፡ ፡ ይህ ( ከእኛ ) የሚፈለግ ነገር ነውና » እያሉ አዘገሙ ፡ ፡

are you secure that he who is in the sky will not make the earth swallow you while it quakes ?
በሰማይ ውስጥ ያለን ( ሰራዊት ) በእናንተ ምድርን ቢደረባባችሁ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምታረገርግ ብትኾን ትተማመናላችሁን ? ( አትፈሩምን ? )

blessed is he who placed constellations in the sky , and placed in it a lamp , and an illuminating moon .
ያ በሰማይ ቡሩጆችን ያደረገና በእርሷም አንጸባራቂን ( ፀሐይ ) አብሪ ጨረቃንም ያደረገ ጌታ ክብሩ በጣም ላቀ ፡ ፡

did they not see the birds above them , stretching out , and flapping their wings . no one keeps them up in the sky except the beneficent god .
ወደ አእዋፍ ከበላያቸው ክንፎቻቸውን ዘርግተው ተንሳፋፊዎች የሚሰበሰቡም ሲኾኑ አላዩምን ? ከአልረሕማን በቀር ( ባየር ላይ ) የሚይዛቸው የለም ፡ ፡ እርሱ በነገሩ ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

escape him you cannot either in the earth or in the sky ; and you have no friend or helper apart from god .
እናንተም በምድርም ኾነ በሰማይ የምታቅቱ አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ረዳትም ተከላካይም ምንም የላችሁም ፡ ፡

and indeed we created towers in the skies , and beautified it for the beholders .
በሰማይም ላይ ቡርጆችን በእርግጥ አድርገናል ፡ ፡ ለተመልካቾችም ( በከዋክብት ) አጊጠናታል ፡ ፡

and in the tribe of a ad ’ , when we sent a dry windstorm upon them .
በዓድም በእነርሱ ላይ መካንን ነፋስ በላክን ጊዜ ( ምልክት አልለ ) ፡ ፡

he created man out of a [ mere ] drop of sperm : yet he shows himself to be openly contentious !
ሰውን ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እርሱ ወዲያውኑ ( ትንሣኤን በመካድ ) ግልጽ ተከራካሪ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

blessed is he who made constellations in the skies , and placed therein a lamp and a moon giving light ;
ያ በሰማይ ቡሩጆችን ያደረገና በእርሷም አንጸባራቂን ( ፀሐይ ) አብሪ ጨረቃንም ያደረገ ጌታ ክብሩ በጣም ላቀ ፡ ፡

and we sent down water from the sky in proper quantity , and settled it in the ground , and we are able to take it away .
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

he knows all that goes into the earth and all that comes out of it , and all that descends from the skies and all that ascends into it ; and only he is the most merciful , the oft forgiving .
በምድር ውስጥ የሚገባውን ሁሉ ከእርሷም የሚወጣውን ከሰማይም የሚወርደውን በእርሷም ውስጥ የሚያርገውን ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡ እርሱም አዛኙ መሓሪው ነው ፡ ፡
