በፀሐይና በብርሃኗ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and its mixture is tasneem ,
መበረዣውም ከተስኒም ነው ፡ ፡

and it throws out its burden ,
ምድር ሸክሞችዋን ባወጣችም ጊዜ ፤

and by the sun and its brightness ;
በፀሐይና በብርሃኗ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

by the sun and its heat and brightness ,
በፀሐይና በብርሃኗ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

i swear by the sun and its brilliance ,
በፀሐይና በብርሃኗ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and inspired it with its sin and its piety ,
አመጽዋንና ፍርሃትዋንም ባሳወቃት ( አምላክ እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

and from it produced its water and its pasture .
ውሃዋንና ግጦሿን ከእርሷ አወጣ ፡ ፡

dressed in silk and brocade , facing one another .
ፊት ለፊት የተቅጣጩ ኾነው ከስስ ሐርና ከወፍራም ሐር ይለብሳሉ ፡ ፡

attired in fine silk and brocade , facing each other .
ፊት ለፊት የተቅጣጩ ኾነው ከስስ ሐርና ከወፍራም ሐር ይለብሳሉ ፡ ፡

and brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture ;
ውሃዋንና ግጦሿን ከእርሷ አወጣ ፡ ፡

and its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right ; -
አመጽዋንና ፍርሃትዋንም ባሳወቃት ( አምላክ እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

and it is no joke .
እርሱም ቀልድ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and it burns the flesh .
ቆዳን በጣም አክሳይ ናት ፡ ፡

and it is certainly not a jest .
እርሱም ቀልድ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and it became as though reaped .
እንደ ሌሊት ጨለማም ኾና አነጋች ፤ ( ከሰለች ) ፡ ፡

and it is guidance and mercy for the believers .
እርሱም ለምእምናን መምሪያና እዝነት ነው ፡ ፡

and it is cried. who can charm ?
« አሻሪው ማነው ? » በተባለም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and it is said : who will be a magician ?
« አሻሪው ማነው ? » በተባለም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

they will have fine green silk and brocade , and they will be decked with bracelets of silver . their lord will provide them with a drink of pure wine .
አረንጓዴዎች የኾኑ የቀጭን ሐር ልብሶችና ወፍራም ሐርም በላያቸው ላይ አልለ ፡ ፡ ከብር የኾኑ አንባሮችንም ይሸለማሉ ፡ ፡ ጌታቸውም አጥሪ የኾነን መጠጥ ያጠጣቸዋል ፡ ፡
