these are the crazy ones. following these is a mistake in itself
እነዚህ የዘነጡ እብዶች ናቸው ። እነዚን መከተል በራሱ ማበድ ነው

እንደ ገነፈለ ውሃ አፈላል ( የሚፈላ ሲኾን ) ፡ ፡

its spathes are like the prickly pear .
እንቡጧ ልክ የሰይጣናት ራሶች ይመስላል ፡ ፡

its fruit like the heads of demons .
እንቡጧ ልክ የሰይጣናት ራሶች ይመስላል ፡ ፡

its spathes are like the heads of satans
እንቡጧ ልክ የሰይጣናት ራሶች ይመስላል ፡ ፡

its fruits are like the devils heads ’ .
እንቡጧ ልክ የሰይጣናት ራሶች ይመስላል ፡ ፡

and its fruits are like the heads of devils .
እንቡጧ ልክ የሰይጣናት ራሶች ይመስላል ፡ ፡

he created man of clay like the potter 's ,
ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

be steadfast in your prayer . do not be like the pagans
ወደእርሱ ተመላሾች ሆናቸሁ ( የአላህን ሃይማኖት ያዙ ) ፡ ፡ ፍሩትም ፡ ፡ ሶላትንም አስተካክላችሁ ስገዱ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁኑ ፡ ፡

and our command is but once , like the twinkling of an eye .
ትእዛዛችንም እንደ ዓይን ቅጽበት አንዲት ( ቃል ) እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

he created man out of dry clay , like the potter s ’ ,
ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

this [ prophet ] is a warner like the former warners .
ይህ ከፊተኞቹ አስፈራሪዎች ( ጎሳ ) የኾነ አስፈራሪ ነው ፡ ፡

there are two beautiful women, one a girl but her face shining like the sun
ሁለት ቆንጆ ሴቶች ይታዩኛል አንዷ ሴት ግን ፊቷ እንደ ፀሀይ ያበራል

( in beauty ) like the jacynth and the coral-stone .
ልክ ያቁትና መርጃን ይመስላሉ ፡ ፡

and do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them . and those will have a great punishment .
እንደነዚያም ግልጽ ተዓምራት ከመጣላቸው በኋላ እንደተለያዩትና እንደ ተጨቃጨቁት አትኹኑ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ለእነርሱ ታላቅ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

and our command is but a single [ word ] , like the twinkling of an eye .
ትእዛዛችንም እንደ ዓይን ቅጽበት አንዲት ( ቃል ) እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡

certainly allah knows what they hide and what they disclose ; indeed he does not like the proud .
አላህ የሚደብቁትንና የሚገልጹትን ሁሉ የሚያውቅ ለመኾኑ ጥርጣሬ የለበትም ፡ ፡ እርሱ ኩሩዎችን አይወድም ፡ ፡

allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged . and ever is allah hearing and knowing .
አላህ ከንግግር በክፉው መጮህን ከተበደለ ሰው ( ጩኸት ) በቀር አይወድም ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

is then the one who creates like the one who does not create ? will you not , then , take heed ?
የሚፈጥር እንደማይፈጥር ነውን አትገሰጹምን

even if we had sent down an angel as messenger he would have appeared in the garb of a man and filled them with confusion , like the one they are filled with .
( መልክተኛውን ) መልአክም ባደረግነው ኖሮ ወንድ ( በሰው ምስል ) ባደረግነው ነበር ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ የሚያመሳስሉትን ነገር ባመሳሰልንባቸው ነበር ፡ ፡
