አዛኝ ወዳጂም ( የለንም ) ፡ ፡

“ and indeed we have to return to our lord . ”
እኛም በእርግጥ ወደ ጌታችን ተመላሾች ፤ ነን » ( እንድትሉ ) ፡ ፡

so do you think that we have created you needlessly , and that you do not have to return to us ?
« የፈጠርናችሁ ለከንቱ መኾኑን እናንተም ወደኛ የማትመለሱ መኾናችሁን ጠረጠራችሁን » ( ለከንቱ የፈጠርናችሁ መሰላችሁን )

thus do we relate to thee some stories of what happened before : for we have sent thee a message from our own presence .
እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ዘንድ ቁረኣንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ ፡ ፡

and we have subjected them to them , so some of them they have to ride upon , and some of them they eat .
ለእነርሱም ገራናት ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ከእርሷ ውስጥ የሚጋልቡት አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም ይበላሉ ፡ ፡

we have to bring a scourge from the heavens on the people of this city as they are depraved . "
« እኛ በዚህች ከተማ ሰዎች ላይ ያምጹ በነበሩት ምክንያት ከሰማይ ቅጣትን አውራጆች ነን ፡ ፡ »

thus do we relate to you some accounts of what is past . certainly , we have given you a reminder from ourselves .
እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ዘንድ ቁረኣንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ ፡ ፡

thus do we narrate some account to you of what has gone before , and we have truly given you a reminder of our own .
እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ዘንድ ቁረኣንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ ፡ ፡

what ! do then those who disbelieve think that they can take my servants to be guardians besides me ? surely we have prepared hell for the entertainment of the unbelievers .
እነዚያ የካዱት ባሮቼን ከእኔ ሌላ አማልክት አድርገው መያዛቸውን ( የማያስቆጣኝ አድርገው ) አሰቡን እኛ ገሀነምን ለከሓዲዎች መስተንግዶ አዘጋጅተናል ፡ ፡

then gathered the chief priests and the pharisees a council, and said, what do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
እንግዲህ የካህናት አለቆችና ፈሪሳውያን ሸንጎ ሰብስበው። ምን እናድርግ? ይህ ሰው ብዙ ምልክቶች ያደርጋልና።

( as for the possibility of resurrection , bear in mind that ) whenever we do will something , we have to do no more than say : " be " , and it is .
ለማንኛውም ነገር ( መኾኑን ) በሻነው ጊዜ ቃላችን ለእርሱ « ኹን » ማለት ብቻ ነው ፤ ወዲውም ይኾናል ፡ ፡

( o muhammad ) , thus do we recount to you the events of the past , and we have bestowed upon you from ourself an admonition .
እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ዘንድ ቁረኣንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ ፡ ፡

and whoever goes astray — goes astray to his detriment . no burdened soul carries the burdens of another , nor do we ever punish until we have sent a messenger .
የተመራ ሰው የሚመራው ለራሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ የተሳሳተም ሰው የሚሳሳተው ( ጉዳቱ ) በእርሷ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ ተሸካሚም ( ነፍስ ) የሌላይቱን ኃጢኣት አትሸከምም ፡ ፡ መልዕክተኛንም እስከምንልክ ድረስ የምንቀጣ አይደለንም ፡ ፡

certainly we have revealed to you a book in which is your good remembrance ; what ! do you not then understand ?
ክብራችሁ በውስጡ ያለበትን መጽሐፍ ወደእናንተ በእርግጥ አወረድን ፡ ፡ አታውቁምን

now you have returned to us , alone , as we created you at first , leaving behind all that we have bestowed on you . nor do we see with you your intercessors , those whom you asserted to be your associates .
መጀመሪያም ጊዜ እንደ ፈጠርናችሁ ኾናችሁ የሰጠናችሁን ሁሉ በጀርባዎቻችሁ ኋላ የተዋችሁ ስትኾኑ የሰጠናችሁን ሁሉ በጀርባዎቻችሁ ኋላ የተዋችሁ ስትኾኑ ለየብቻችሁ ኾናችሁ በእርግጥ መጣችሁን እነዚያንም እነሱ በእናንተ ውስጥ ( ለአላህ ) ተጋሪዎች ናቸው የምትሉዋቸውን አማላጆቻችሁን ከእናንተ ጋር አናይም ፡ ፡ ግንኙነታችሁ በእርግጥ ተቋረጠ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ያ ( ያማልደናል ) የምትሉት ጠፋ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

he sets forth to you a parable relating to yourselves : have you among those whom your right hands possess partners in what we have given you for sustenance , so that with respect to it you are alike ; you fear them as you fear each other ? thus do we make the communications distinct for a people who understand .
ለእናንተ ከነፍሶቻችሁ የሆነን ምሳሌ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) እጆቻችሁ ከያዟቸው ( ባሮች ) ውስጥ በሰጠናችሁ ጸጋ ለእናንተ ተጋሪዎች አሏችሁን ? ታዲያ እናንተና እነርሱ በእርሱ ትክክል ናችሁን ? ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ብጤዎቻችሁን ) እንደምትፈሩ ትፈሯቸዋላችሁን ? እንደዚሁ ለሚያስተውሉ ሕዝቦች ፤ አንቀጾችን እንገልጻለን ፡ ፡

after the sorrows you suffered , he sent you relief and some of you were encompassed by slumber . to some others of you , your lives were so important that you , like ignorant people , began thinking suspiciously of god saying , " do we have any say in the matter ? "
ከዚያም ከጭንቅ በኋላ ጸጥታን ከእናንተ ከፊሎችን የሚሸፍንን እንቅልፍ በእናንተ ላይ አወረደ ፡ ፡ ከፊሎቹም ነፍሶቻቸው በእርግጥ አሳሰቧቸው ፡ ፡ እውነት ያልኾነውን የመሃይምነትን መጠራጠር በአላህ ይጠራጠራሉ ፤ « ከነገሩ ለእኛ ምንም የለንም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « ነገሩ ሁሉም ለአላህ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ለአንተ የማይገልጹትን በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ይደብቃሉ ፡ ፡ « ከነገሩ ለእኛ አንዳች በነበረን ኖሮ እዚህ ባልተገደልን ነበር » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « በቤታችሁ ውስጥ በኾናችሁም ኖሮ እነዚያ በእነርሱ ላይ መገደል የተጻፈባቸው ወደ መውደቂያቸው በወጡ ነበር » በላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህ ( ፍርዱን ሊፈጽምና ) በደረቶቻችሁም ውስጥ ያለውን ሊፈትን በልቦቻችሁም ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር ሊገልጽ ( ይህን ሠራ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም በደረቶች ውስጥ ያለን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
