የሚሻውን ሁሉ ሠሪ ነው ፡ ፡

and who still desires more .
ከዚያም ልጨምርለት ይከጅላል ፡ ፡

can ever man get what he desires ?
ለሰው የተመኘው ሁሉ አለውን ?

and restrain their carnal desires
እነዚያም እነርሱ ብልቶቻቸውን ጠባቂዎች የሆኑት ( አገኙ ) ፡ ፡

but man desires to continue in sin .
ይልቁንም ሰው በፊቱ ባለው ነገር ( በትንሣኤ ) ሊያስተባብል ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

then he desires that i should add more .
ከዚያም ልጨምርለት ይከጅላል ፡ ፡

but man desires to persist in his evil ways .
ይልቁንም ሰው በፊቱ ባለው ነገር ( በትንሣኤ ) ሊያስተባብል ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

and yet he desires that i should add more !
ከዚያም ልጨምርለት ይከጅላል ፡ ፡

he desires only to please his lord , the supreme .
ግን የታላቅ ጌታውን ውዴታ ለመፈለግ ( ይህንን ሠራ ) ፡ ፡

whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind .
ከእናንተ ( ወደ በጎ ነገር ) መቅደምን ወይም ወደ ኋላ መቅረትን ለሻ ሰው ( አስፈራሪ ስትኾኑ ) ፡ ፡

after all that he desires that i should give more ;
ከዚያም ልጨምርለት ይከጅላል ፡ ፡

and yet , he greedily desires that i give him even more !
ከዚያም ልጨምርለት ይከጅላል ፡ ፡

or is the human being to have whatever he desires ?
ለሰው የተመኘው ሁሉ አለውን ?

yet every one of them desires to be given scrolls unrolled .
ይልቁንም ከእነርሱ እያንዳንዱ ሰው ሁሉ የተዘረጉ ጽሑፎችን እንዲስሰጥ ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

allah desires to lighten your burden , for man was created weak .
አላህ ከእናንተ ሊያቃልልላችሁ ይሻል ፡ ፡ ሰውም ደካማ ኾኖ ተፈጠረ ፡ ፡

but those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors ; -
ከዚህም ወዲያ የፈለጉ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but he who feared standing before his lord , and restrained his self from vain desires ,
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

indeed , everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them --
ይልቁንም ከእነርሱ እያንዳንዱ ሰው ሁሉ የተዘረጉ ጽሑፎችን እንዲስሰጥ ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

( man denies resurrection and reckoning . so ) he desires to continue committing sins .
ይልቁንም ሰው በፊቱ ባለው ነገር ( በትንሣኤ ) ሊያስተባብል ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡

rather , every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about .
ይልቁንም ከእነርሱ እያንዳንዱ ሰው ሁሉ የተዘረጉ ጽሑፎችን እንዲስሰጥ ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡
