አንተም በታላቅ ጠባይ ላይ ነህ ፡ ፡

« ሁሉም በሚመስለው መንገዱ ላይ ይሠራል ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁም እርሱ መንገዱ ቀጥተኛ የኾነውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : " each one acts according to his disposition , but your lord knows well who follow the right path . "
« ሁሉም በሚመስለው መንገዱ ላይ ይሠራል ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁም እርሱ መንገዱ ቀጥተኛ የኾነውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው በላቸው ፡ ፡

and he made the night for rest , and the sun and the moon for calculation . such is the disposition of the almighty , the all-knowing .
እርሱም ጎህን ( ከሌሊት ጨለማ ) ፈልቃቂ ሌሊትንም ማረፊያ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ( ለጊዜ ) መቁጠሪያ አድራጊ ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው ( አላህ ) ችሎታ ነው ፡ ፡

say : " everyone acts according to his own disposition : but your lord knows best who it is that is best guided on the way . "
« ሁሉም በሚመስለው መንገዱ ላይ ይሠራል ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁም እርሱ መንገዱ ቀጥተኛ የኾነውን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው በላቸው ፡ ፡

if good fortune befalls thee , it vexes them ; but if thou art visited by an affliction , they say , ' we took our dispositions before ' , and turn away , rejoicing .
መልካም ነገር ብታገኝህ ታስከፋቸዋለች ፡ ፡ መከራም ብታገኝህ « ከዚህ በፊት በእርግጥ ጥንቃቄያችንን ይዘናል » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ተደሳቾች ኾነው ይሸሻሉ ፡ ፡
