do not grant a favour seeking a greater gain ,
ማብዛትንም የምትፈልግ ኾነህ ፤ ( በረከትን ) አትለግስለለ

but god does not grant a soul respite once its term has come to end . and god is aware of what you do .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

therefore grant a delay to the unbelievers : give respite to them gently ( for awhile ) .
ከሓዲዎችንም ቀን ስጣቸው ፡ ፡ ጥቂትን ጊዜ አቆያቸው ፡ ፡

but god will not grant a reprieve to a soul when its appointed time has come ; god is well-aware of what you do .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

when we grant a blessing to a man , he turns away and draws aside , but when any evil touches him , he is full of endless prayers !
በሰውም ላይ ጸጋችንን በለገስን ጊዜ ( ከማመስገን ) ይዞራል ፡ ፡ በጎኑም ይርቃል ፡ ፡ መከራም ባገኘው ጊዜ የብዙ ልመና ባለቤት ይኾናል ፡ ፡

thus , we settled joseph in the land to live wherever he wanted . we grant a due share of our mercy to whomever we want and we do not ignore the reward of the righteous ones .
እንደዚሁም ለዩሱፍ በምድር ላይ ከእርሷ በፈለገው ስፍራ የሚሰፍር ሲሆን አስመቸነው ፡ ፡ በችሮታችን የምንሻውን ሰው እንለያለን ፡ ፡ የበጎ ሠሪዎችንም ዋጋ አናጠፋም ፡ ፡

let those who seek the life of the next world in exchange for the life of this world fight in the way of allah . we shall grant a mighty reward to whoever fights in the way of allah , whether he is slain or comes out victorious .
እነዚያም ቅርቧን ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱ ሕይወት የሚለውጡ በአላህ መንገድ ይጋደሉ ፡ ፡ በአላህም መንገድ የሚጋደል ፣ የሚገደልም ወይም የሚያሸንፍ ታላቅ ምንዳን በእርግጥ እንሰጠዋለን ፡ ፡

to those who strive for his cause in person or with their property , god has granted a higher rank than to those who stay at home . god has promised that everyone will receive his proper share of the reward but he will grant a much greater reward to those striving for his cause than to those who stay home ( for no reason ) .
ከምእመናን የጉዳት ባለቤት ከኾኑት በቀር ተቀማጮቹና በአላህ መንገድ በገንዘቦቻቸውና በነፍሶቻቸው የሚታገሉት አይተካከሉም ፡ ፡ በገንዘቦቻቸውና በነፍሶቻቸው የሚታገሉትን አላህ በተቀማጮቹ ላይ በደረጃ አበለጠ ፡ ፡ ለሁሉም አላህ መልካሚቱን ( ገነት ) ተስፋ ሰጠ ፡ ፡ ታጋዮቹንም በተቀማጮቹ ላይ አላህ በታላቅ ምንዳ አበለጠ ፡ ፡
