በኋለኞቹም ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ለእኔ መልካም ዝናን አድርግልኝ ፡ ፡

therein a fountain whose name is called salsabil .
በውስጧ ያለችውን ሰልሰቢል ተብላ የምትጠራውን ምንጭ ፡ ፡

if ye shall ask any thing in my name, i will do it.
ማናቸውንም ነገር በስሜ ብትለምኑ እኔ አደርገዋለሁ።

and ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
በሁሉም ስለ ስሜ የተጠላችሁ ትሆናላችሁ።

for i will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
ስለ ስሜ ስንት መከራ ሊቀበል እንዲያስፈልገው እኔ አመለክተዋለሁና አለው።

and he asked him, what is thy name? and he answered, saying, my name is legion: for we are many.
ስምህ ማን ነው? ብሎ ጠየቀው። ብዙዎች ነንና ስሜ ሌጌዎን ነው አለው፥

i am the only god . worship me and be steadfast in prayer to have my name always in your mind .
« እኔ አላህ እኔ ነኝ ያለ እኔ አምላክ የለምና ተገዛኝ ፡ ፡ ሶላትንም ( በእርሷ ) እኔን ለማውሳት ስገድ ፡ ፡

and he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called the word of god.
በደምም የተረጨ ልብስ ተጐናጽፎአል፥ ስሙም የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ተብሎአል።

at that day ye shall ask in my name: and i say not unto you, that i will pray the father for you:
በዚያን ቀን በስሜ ትለምናላችሁ፤ እኔም ስለ እናንተ አብን እንድለምን የምላችሁ አይደለሁም፤

and ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
በሁሉም ስለ ስሜ የተጠላችሁ ትሆናላችሁ፤ እስከ መጨረሻ የሚጸና ግን እርሱ ይድናል።

in houses allah has allowed to be raised and wherein his name is celebrated ; he is glorified therein , morning and evening ,
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡

but jesus said, forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
ስለማይከተለንም ከለከልነው አለው። ኢየሱስ ግን አለ። በስሜ ተአምር ሠርቶ በቶሎ በእኔ ላይ ክፉ መናገር የሚችል ማንም የለምና አትከልክሉት፤

' o zachariah , we give thee good tidings of a boy , whose name is john . no namesake have we given him aforetime . '
« ዘከሪያ ሆይ ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ ስሙ የሕያ በኾነ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

lo ! we bring thee tidings of a son whose name is john ; we have given the same name to none before ( him ) .
« ዘከሪያ ሆይ ! እኛ በወንድ ልጅ ስሙ የሕያ በኾነ ከዚህ በፊት ሞክሼን ባላደረግንለት እናበስርሃለን » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

in the houses ( mosques ) which allah has commanded to erect and in which his name is taken – praising allah in them at morn and evening ,
አላህ እንድትከበርና ስሙ በውስጧ እንዲወሳ ባዘዘው ቤቶች ውስጥ ( አወድሱት ) ፡ ፡ በውስጧ በጧትና በማታ ለእርሱ ያጠራሉ ፡ ፡
