በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

and i am commanded this , in order i may be the first of those who submit .
« የሙስሊሞችም መጀመሪያ እንድኾን ታዘዝኩ ፡ ፡ »

but if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that i may not overcharge you all.
ነገር ግን ማንም አሳዝኖ ቢሆን፥ እንዳልከብድባችሁ፥ በክፍል ሁላችሁን እንጂ እኔን ያሳዘነ አይደለም።

so that you may not be saddened upon losing something , nor rejoice upon what you are given ; and allah does not like any boastful , conceited person .
( ይህ ማሳወቃችን ) ባመለጣችሁ ጸጋ ላይ እንዳታዝኑ አላህም በሰጣችሁ ነገር ( በትዕቢት ) እንዳትደሰቱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ኩራተኛን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድም ፡ ፡

i sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that i may be the less sorrowful.
እንግዲህ እንደ ገና ስታዩት ደስ እንዲላችሁ ለእኔም ኀዘኔ እንዲቃለል በብዙ ፍጥነት እልከዋለሁ።

at my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: i pray god that it may not be laid to their charge.
በፊተኛው ሙግቴ አንድ ስንኳ አልደረሰልኝም፥ ሁሉም ተዉኝ እንጂ፤ ይህንም አይቍጠርባቸው፤

but we said to him : ' do not be afraid ; you shall surely be the uppermost .
« አትፍራ አንተ የበላዩ አንተ ነህና » አልነው ፡ ፡

and believe in what i have sent down confirming what is with you , and do not be the first to disbelieve it . do not sell my verses for a little price and fear me .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡

in order that you may not be sad over matters that you fail to get , nor rejoice because of that which has been given to you . and allah likes not prideful boasters .
( ይህ ማሳወቃችን ) ባመለጣችሁ ጸጋ ላይ እንዳታዝኑ አላህም በሰጣችሁ ነገር ( በትዕቢት ) እንዳትደሰቱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ኩራተኛን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድም ፡ ፡

for do i now persuade men, or god? or do i seek to please men? for if i yet pleased men, i should not be the servant of christ.
ሰውን ወይስ እግዚአብሔርን አሁን እሺ አሰኛለሁን? ወይም ሰውን ደስ ላሰኝ እፈልጋለሁን? አሁን ሰውን ደስ ባሰኝ የክርስቶስ ባሪያ ባልሆንሁም።

and if there is a party of you who believe in the message i have been sent with , and a party who believe not , be patient till god shall judge between us ; he is the best of judges . '
« ከእናንተም በዚያ እኔ በእርሱ በተላክሁበት ያመኑ ጭፍሮችና ያላመኑ ጭፍሮችም ቢኖሩ በመካከላችን አላህ እስከሚፈርድ ታገሱ ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከፈራጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡ »

and believe in what i have sent down which verifies what is already with you ; and do not be the first to deny it , nor part with it for little gain ; and beware of me .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡

and even if i go back to my lord , there will surely still be the best for me with him . " we shall tell those who do not believe what they used to do , and inflict on them a heavy punishment .
ካገኘችውም መከራ በኋላ ከእኛ የኾነን እዝነት ብናቀምሰው « ይህ ለእኔ ( በሥራዬ የተገባኝ ) ነው ፡ ፡ ሰዓቲቱም መጪ ናት ብዬ አላስብም ፡ ፡ ወደ ጌታየም ብመለስ ለእኔ እርሱ ዘንድ መልካሚቱ ( ገነት ) በእርግጥ አለችኝ » ይላል ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም የካዱትን ሥራዎቻቸውን በእርግጥ እንነግራቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ከብርቱውም ስቃይ በእርግጥ እናቀምሳቸዋለን ፡ ፡

and believe in what i revealed , confirming what is with you ; and do not be the first to deny it ; and do not exchange my revelations for a small price ; and be conscious of me .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡

" and i am commanded ( this ) in order that i may be the first of those who submit themselves to allah ( in islam ) as muslims . "
« የሙስሊሞችም መጀመሪያ እንድኾን ታዘዝኩ ፡ ፡ »

he is the originator of the heavens and the earth . he feeds and is not fed ' say : ' i was commanded to be the first to submit to him ' do not be one of the idolaters .
« ሰማያትንና ምድርን ፈጣሪ ከኾነው አላህ እርሱ የሚመግብ የማይመገብም ሲኾን ሌላን አምላክ እይዛለሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « እኔ መጀመሪያ ትእዛዝን ከተቀበለ ሰው ልኾን ታዘዝኩ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎችም ፈጽሞ አትኹን ( ተብያለሁ ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡

a prophet may not breach his trust , and whoever breaches his trust will bring his breaches on the day of resurrection ; then every soul shall be recompensed fully for what it has earned , and they will not be wronged .
ለነቢይም ሰለባን መደበቅ አይገባውም ፡ ፡ ሰለባንም የሚደብቅ ሰው በትንሣኤ ቀን በደበቀው ነገር ( ተሸክሞ ) ይመጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ነፍስ ሁሉ የሥራዋን ዋጋ ትሞላለች ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

and do not be like the woman broke her thread into bits after she had manufactured it ; you make your oaths a phoney excuse between yourselves lest one nation may not be more than the other ; allah just tries you with it ; and he will surely clarify for you on the day of resurrection , the matters in which you differed .
( ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በማፍረስ አንዲቱ ) ሕዝብ እርሷ ከ ( ሌላይቱ ) ሕዝብ የበዛች ለመኾንዋ በመካከላችሁ መሓሎቻችሁን ( ለክዳት ) መግቢያ አድርጋችሁ የምትይዙ ስትኾኑ እንደዚያች ፈትልዋን ከጠነከረ በኋላ ትርትሮች አድርጋ እንዳፈረሰችው ( ሴት ) አትኹኑ ፡ ፡ አላህ በእርሱ ይሞክራችኋል ፤ በትንሣኤ ቀንም በእርሱ ትለያዩበት የነበራችሁትን ነገር ለእናንተ በእርግጥ ያብራራላችኋል ፡ ፡

and musa said : my lord knows best who comes with guidance from him , and whose shall be the good end of the abode ; surely the unjust shall not be successful .
ሙሳም « ጌታዬ ከእርሱ ዘንድ በቀጥታው መንገድ የመጣውን ሰው ምስጉኒቱም አገር ለእርሱ የምትኾንለትን ሰው ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እነሆ በደለኞቹ አይድኑም » አለ ፡ ፡
