« ሰዓቲቱ በእርግጥ መጪናት ፡ ፡ ልደብቃት እቃረባለሁ ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ሁሉ በምትሠራው ነገር ትመነዳ ዘንድ ( መጭ ናት ) ፡ ፡

then it is for us ( allah ) to make it clear to you ,
ከዚያም ማብራራቱ በእኛ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡

to make it a lesson for you — so that retaining ears may retain it .
ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

in order to make it a warning for you , and that the ear retentive may preserve it .
ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

in order to make it a remembrance for you , and in order that the ears that store may remember .
ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

and then , it will be for us to make its meaning clear .
ከዚያም ማብራራቱ በእኛ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡

in order to set up an example for their contemporaries and coming generations and to make it a reminder for the pious .
( ቅጣቲቱንም ) ለነዚያ በስተፊትዋ ለነበሩትና ለነዚያም ከበኋላዋ ላሉት ( ሕዝቦች ) መቀጣጫ ለፈራህያንም መገሰጫ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

as for the boat , it belonged to some poor people who work on the sea . i wanted to make it defective , for behind them was a king seizing every ship usurpingly .
« መርከቢቱማ በባሕር ለሚሠሩ ምስኪኖች ነበረች ፡ ፡ ከኋላቸውም መርከብን ሁሉ በቅሚያ የሚይዝ ንጉሥ ነበረና ፤ ( እንዳይቀማቸው ) ላነውራት ፈቀድኩ ፡ ፡

upon those who hinder men from the path of allah and seek to make it crooked ; and disbelieve in the hereafter . '
( በደለኞች ) እነዚያ ከአላህ መንገድ የሚከለክሉ ፣ ( የአላህም መንገድ ) እንድትጣመምም የሚፈልጉዋት ፣ እነርሱም በመጨረሻዋ ዓለም ከሓዲዎች የኾኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

it is he who sent his messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth , to make it prevail over all religions . god suffices as witness .
እርሱ ያ መልክተኛውን በመሪ መጽሐፍና በእውነተኛ ሃይማኖት በሃይማኖት ሁሉ ላይ ሊያልቀው የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ መስካሪም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡

" who obstruct those who follow the path of god and try to make it oblique , who do not believe in the life to come . "
( በደለኞች ) እነዚያ ከአላህ መንገድ የሚከለክሉ ፣ ( የአላህም መንገድ ) እንድትጣመምም የሚፈልጉዋት ፣ እነርሱም በመጨረሻዋ ዓለም ከሓዲዎች የኾኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

it is he who has sent his messenger with guidance and the true religion to make it prevail over all other religions . god is a sufficient witness to this truth " .
እርሱ ያ መልክተኛውን በመሪ መጽሐፍና በእውነተኛ ሃይማኖት በሃይማኖት ሁሉ ላይ ሊያልቀው የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ መስካሪም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡

those who hindered ( men ) from the path of allah , and would seek to make it crooked , and they were disbelievers in the hereafter .
( በደለኞች ) እነዚያ ከአላህ መንገድ የሚከለክሉ ፣ ( የአላህም መንገድ ) እንድትጣመምም የሚፈልጉዋት ፣ እነርሱም በመጨረሻዋ ዓለም ከሓዲዎች የኾኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

such as prefer the present life over the world to come , and bar from god 's way , desiring to make it crooked -- they are in far error .
እነዚያ የቅርቢቱን ሕይወት ከመጨረሻይቱ ሕይወት ይበልጥ የሚወዱ ከአላህም መንገድ የሚያግዱ መጥመሟንም የሚፈልጉዋት ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያ በሩቅ ስሕተት ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

god wishes to make it clear to you and guide you through the example of earlier people , and to forgive you , for god is all-knowing and all-wise .
አላህ ( የሃይማኖታችሁን ሕግጋት ) ሊያብራራላችሁ ከእናንተ በፊትም የነበሩትን ነቢያት ደንቦች ሊመራችሁ በእናንተም ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

' do not sit in every road , threatening and barring from the path of allah those who believed it , nor seek to make it crooked . remember how he multiplied you when you were few in number .
« ( ሰዎችን ) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ ፡ ፡ »

and do not lie in wait on every road to threaten and bar those who have faith in him from the way of allah , seeking to make it crooked . remember when you were few , and he multiplied you , and observe how was the fate of the agents of corruption .
« ( ሰዎችን ) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ ፡ ፡ »

" and sit not on every road , threatening , and hindering from the path of allah those who believe in him. and seeking to make it crooked . and remember when you were but few , and he multiplied you .
« ( ሰዎችን ) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ ፡ ፡ »

and beset not every highway menacing and turning aside from the path of allah those who believe in him , and seeking to make it crooked . and remember when ye were small , and he thereafter multiplied you ; and behold what like was the end of the corrupters .
« ( ሰዎችን ) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ ፡ ፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ ፡ ፡ »

say , " people of the book , why do you turn the believers away from the path of god , seeking to make it crooked , while you are witnesses thereof ? god is not unaware of what you do . "
« የመጽሐፉ ሰዎች ሆይ ! እናንተ መስካሪዎች ኾናችሁ ከአላህ መንገድ መጥመሟን የምትፈልጓት ስትኾኑ ያመነን ሰው ለምን ትከለክላላችሁ አላህም ከምትሰሩት ነገር ሁሉ ዘንጊ አይደለም » በላቸው ፡ ፡
