ያ የሚጥራራ ኾኖ ገንዘቡን ( ለድኾች ) የሚሰጠው ፡ ፡

and everyone on earth , in order to save him .
በምድርም ላይ ባለው ሁሉ ( ሊበዥ ) ከዚያም ሊያድነው ( ይመኛል ) ፡ ፡

and do not favour others in order to receive more .
ማብዛትንም የምትፈልግ ኾነህ ፤ ( በረከትን ) አትለግስለለ

ለኛ ለመጠቆም ነጻ ሁኑ ፤ ምክንያቱም የመረጃመረቡን ምሉዕ ያደርጋልና፡፡

in order to make it a warning for you , and that the ear retentive may preserve it .
ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

in order to confirm the truth and nullify falsehood , even though the guilty dislike it .
( ይህንንም ያደረገው ) አጋሪዎቹ ቢጠሉም እውነቱን ሊያረጋግጥ ክህደትንም ሊያጠፋ ነው ፡ ፡

in order to make it a remembrance for you , and in order that the ears that store may remember .
ለእናንተ መገሰጫ ልናደርጋት አጥኒ የኾነችም ጆሮ ታጠናት ዘንድ ፡ ፡

and bestow not favour in order to seek from others a greater return ,
ማብዛትንም የምትፈልግ ኾነህ ፤ ( በረከትን ) አትለግስለለ

and do you take to yourselves underground reservoirs , in order to live for ever !
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

in order to set up an example for their contemporaries and coming generations and to make it a reminder for the pious .
( ቅጣቲቱንም ) ለነዚያ በስተፊትዋ ለነበሩትና ለነዚያም ከበኋላዋ ላሉት ( ሕዝቦች ) መቀጣጫ ለፈራህያንም መገሰጫ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

in order to be ungrateful for our favours ; and to use the comforts ; therefore they will soon come to know .
በሰጠናቸው ጸጋ ሊክዱና ሊጠቃቀሙ ( ያጋራሉ ) ፡ ፡ ወደፊትም ( የሚጠብቃቸውን ) ያውቃሉ ፡ ፡

and those who strive in our signs in order to defeat , will be brought into the punishment .
እነዚያም የሚያቅቱ መስሏቸው አንቀጾቻችንን ለማበላሸት የሚጥሩት እነዚያ በቅጣቱ ውስጥ የሚጣዱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and allah provided this aid to you in order to cut off a part of those who disbelieved and frustrate them so that they retreat in utter disappointment .
( ድልን ያጎናጸፋችሁ ) ከእነዚያ ከካዱት ከፊልን ሊቆርጥ ( ሊያጠፋ ) ወይም ሊያዋርዳቸውና ያፈሩ ኾነው እንዲመለሱ ነው ፡ ፡

and when they are called to god and his messenger , in order to judge between them , some of them refuse .
ወደ አላህና ወደ መልክተኛውም በመካከላቸው ሊፈርድ በተጠሩ ጊዜ ከእነሱ ከፊሉ ወዲያውኑ ይሸሻሉ ፡ ፡

as for those who worked against our signs in order to frustrate them , they shall suffer a painful chastisement .
እነዚያም የሚያመልጡ መስሏቸው አንቀጾቻችንን ለማፍረስ የጣሩ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ ከመጥፎ ቅጣት የኾነ አሳማሚ ስቃይ አላቸው ፡ ፡

and those who strove in our signs in order to defeat – for them is a punishment from the severe painful punishments .
እነዚያም የሚያመልጡ መስሏቸው አንቀጾቻችንን ለማፍረስ የጣሩ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ ከመጥፎ ቅጣት የኾነ አሳማሚ ስቃይ አላቸው ፡ ፡

in order to be ungrateful for our bestowal ; “ therefore enjoy ” ; you will soon come to know .
በሰጠናቸው ጸጋ ሊክዱ ( ያጋራሉ ) ፡ ፡ ተጣቀሙም ፤ በእርግጥም ( መጨረሻችሁን ) ወደፊት ታውቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

he said , “ have you come to us in order to expel us from our land by your magic , o moosa ? ”
« ከምድራችን በድግምትህ ልታወጣን መጣህብን ሙሳ ሆይ ! » አለ ፡ ፡
