is it not that they say , from their own invention ,
ንቁ ! እነርሱ ከቅጥፈታቸው ( የተነሳ ) ይላሉ ፡ -

it is only because of their false invention that they say ,
ንቁ ! እነርሱ ከቅጥፈታቸው ( የተነሳ ) ይላሉ ፡ -

then moses cast down his staff and it swallowed up their lying invention ,
ሙሳም በትሩን ጣለ ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ የሚያስመስሉትን ሁሉ ትውጣለች ፡ ፡

we have not heard of this in later religion . this is naught but an invention .
« ይህንንም በኋለኛይቱ ሃይማኖት አልሰማንም ፡ ፡ ይህ ውሸትን መፍጠር እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም » ( እያሉም ) ፡ ፡

we heard not thereof in the later faith ; this is naught but an invention .
« ይህንንም በኋለኛይቱ ሃይማኖት አልሰማንም ፡ ፡ ይህ ውሸትን መፍጠር እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም » ( እያሉም ) ፡ ፡

then moses cast his staff and lo , it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention ;
ሙሳም በትሩን ጣለ ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ የሚያስመስሉትን ሁሉ ትውጣለች ፡ ፡

( such an invention ) will bring only a little enjoyment but will be followed by painful torment .
ጥቂት መጣቀም አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

then we revealed to moses : ' now , throw down your staff ' and thereupon it swallowed up their false invention .
ወደ ሙሳም ፡ - « በትርህን ጣል » ስንል ላክን ፡ ፡ ( ጣላትም ) ወዲያውኑም የሚቀጣጥፉትን ( ማታለያ ) ትውጣለች ፡ ፡

and we revealed to moses : ' cast thy staff ! ' and lo , it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention .
ወደ ሙሳም ፡ - « በትርህን ጣል » ስንል ላክን ፡ ፡ ( ጣላትም ) ወዲያውኑም የሚቀጣጥፉትን ( ማታለያ ) ትውጣለች ፡ ፡

" we have not heard ( the like ) of this among the people of these later days . this is nothing but an invention !
« ይህንንም በኋለኛይቱ ሃይማኖት አልሰማንም ፡ ፡ ይህ ውሸትን መፍጠር እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም » ( እያሉም ) ፡ ፡

those who deny the truth say , " this is only a forgery of his own invention in which others have helped him . " what they say is unjust and false .
እነዚያም የካዱት ይህ ( ቁርኣን ሙሐመድ ) የቀጠፈው በእርሱም ላይ ሌሎች ሕዝቦች ያገዙት የኾነ ውሸት እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም አሉ ፡ ፡ በእርግጥም በደልንና እብለትን ሠሩ ፡ ፡

and in like manner , their associate gods have made killing their children seem fair to many pagans , so that they may ruin them and cause confusion in their religion . had god pleased , they would not have done so ; so leave them to their false inventions .
እንደዚሁም ከአጋሪዎቹ ለብዙዎቹ ፤ ተጋሪዎቻቸው ሊያጠፉዋቸው ሃይማኖ ታቸውንም በእነሱ ላይ ሊያቀላቅሉባቸው ( ሊያመሳስሉባቸው ) ልጆቻቸውን መግደልን አሳመሩላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ ባልሠሩት ነበር ፡ ፡ ከቅጥፈታቸውም ጋር ተዋቸው ፡ ፡
