አግዜር ይባርክህ

may he be condemned !
ተረገመም ፤ እንዴት ገመተ !

so that we may glorify
« በብዙ እናጠራህ ዘንድ ፡ ፡

and may remember you much .
« በብዙም እንድናወሳህ ፡ ፡

may her soul rest in peace
ነፍሱ በሰላም ታርፍ

and fruits that they may like .
ከሚመርጡትም ዓይነት በእሸቶች ፡ ፡

may their soul rest in peace
ነፍሳቸው በሰላም teref

that they may understand my speech ,
« ንግግሬን ያውቃሉና ፡ ፡

so that they may understand my speech ,
« ንግግሬን ያውቃሉና ፡ ፡

and fruit ; that they may choose .
ከሚመርጡትም ዓይነት በእሸቶች ፡ ፡

" so they may understand what i say :
« ንግግሬን ያውቃሉና ፡ ፡

and among fruits whichever they may desire .
ከሚከጅሉትም ሁሉ በፍራፍሬዎች ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and that allah may help thee with strong help -
አላህ ብርቱን እርዳታ ሊረዳህም ( ከፈተልህ ) ፡ ፡

again , may he be cursed how he plotted ;
ከዚያም ( ከሞት በኋላ ) ተረገመ ፡ ፡ እንዴት ገመተ !

" that we may celebrate thy praise without stint ,
« በብዙ እናጠራህ ዘንድ ፡ ፡

so may he be destroyed [ for ] how he deliberated .
ተረገመም ፤ እንዴት ገመተ !

that you may follow therein roads of passage . ' "
ከእርሷ ሰፋፊዎችን መንገዶች ትገቡ ዘንድ ፡ ፡

but it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
ውሻ ወደ ትፋቱ ይመለሳል፥ ደግሞ። የታጠበች እርያ በጭቃ ለመንከባለል ትመለሳለች እንደሚባል እውነተኞች ምሳሌዎች ሆኖባቸዋል።
