እንደዚሁ ለእስራኤል ልጆች አወረስናትም ፡ ፡

truly in that there is an oath for those who possess understanding .
በዚህ ( መሓላ ) ለባለ አእምሮ ታላቅ መሓላ አለበትን ?

does he possess knowledge of the unseen , and can therefore foresee ?
የሩቁ ምስጢር ዕውቀት እርሱ ዘንድ አልለን ? ስለዚህ እርሱ ያያልን ?

do they possess the treasures of your lord ? or are they the treasurers ?
ወይስ የጌታህ ግምጃ ቤቶች እነርሱ ዘንድ ናቸውን ? ወይስ እነርሱ አሸናፊዎች ናቸውን ?

do they possess knowledge of the unseen , so that they can write it down ?
ወይስ ሩቁ ምስጢር እነርሱ ዘንድ ነውን ? ስለዚህ እነርሱ ይጽፋሉን ?

do they possess the treasures of your lord , the most mighty , the great bestower ?
ይልቁንም የአሸናፊውና የለጋሱ ጌታህ የችሮታው መጋዘኖች እነርሱ ዘንድ ናቸውን ?

a book whose revelations are well expounded , an arabic quran for people who possess knowledge ,
አንቀጾቹ የተብራሩ የኾነ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ሲኾን ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች ( የተብራራ ) ነው ፡ ፡

do they possess the treasures of the mercy of your lord , the mighty , the great bestower ?
ይልቁንም የአሸናፊውና የለጋሱ ጌታህ የችሮታው መጋዘኖች እነርሱ ዘንድ ናቸውን ?

except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess , for then there is no blame upon them .
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዟቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

and lo ! in the source of decrees , which we possess , it is indeed sublime , decisive .
እርሱም በመጽሐፎቹ እናት ውስጥ እኛ ዘንድ በእርግጥ ከፍተኛ ጥበብ የተመላ ነው ፡ ፡

a day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul ; that day the command shall belong unto god .
( እርሱ ) ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ለሌላይቱ ነፍስ ምንም ማድረግን የማትችልበት ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ በዚያ ቀን ለአላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

allah has prepared for them a severe punishment . so be wary of allah , o you who possess intellect and have faith !
አላህ ለእነርሱ ብርቱን ቅጣት አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የአእምሮ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ያመኑ ( ሆይ ) ! አላህ ወደናንተ ግሳጼን በእርግጥ አወረደ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛን ( ላከ ) ፡ ፡

except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed ,
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በእነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

for what you possess will pass , but what is with god will abide . we shall certainly award those who persevere a recompense in keeping with their deeds .
እናንተ ዘንድ ያለው ሁሉ ያልቃል ፡ ፡ አላህ ዘንድ ያለው ግን ( ዘለዓለም ) ቀሪ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም የታገሱትን ይሠሩት በነበሩት በመልካሙ ምንዳቸውን እንመነዳቸዋለን ፡ ፡

and before thee also the messengers we sent were but men , to whom we granted inspiration : if ye realise this not , ask of those who possess the message .
ከአንተም በፊት ወደእነሱ ወሕይን ( ራእይን ) የምናወርድላቸውን ሰዎችን እንጂ ሌላን አልላክንም ፡ ፡ የማታውቁም ብትኾኑ የዕውቀትን ባለቤቶች ጠይቁ ፡ ፡
