በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

and goodly things wherein they rejoiced ;
በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

and my spirit hath rejoiced in god my saviour.
ነፍሴ ጌታን ታከብረዋለች፥ መንፈሴም በአምላኬ በመድኃኒቴ ሐሴት ታደርጋለች፤

which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
ባነበቡትም ጊዜ ከምክሩ የተነሣ ደስ አላቸው።

when they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
ኮከቡንም ባዩ ጊዜ በታላቅ ደስታ እጅግ ደስ አላቸው።

your father abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
አባታችሁ አብርሃም ቀኔን ያይ ዘንድ ሐሤት አደረገ፥ አየም ደስም አለው።

' that is because you rejoiced in the earth without right , and were exultant .
ይህ ( ቅጣት ) ያላግባብ በምድር ውሰጥ ትደሰቱ በነበራችሁትና ትንበጣረሩ በነበራችሁት ነው ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

i rejoiced greatly that i found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the father.
ትእዛዝን ከአብ እንደ ተቀበልን ከልጆችሽ በእውነት የሚሄዱ አንዳንዶችን ስለ አገኘኋቸው እጅግ ደስ ብሎኛል።

and her neighbours and her cousins heard how the lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
ጎረቤቶችዋም ዘመዶችዋም ጌታ ምሕረቱን እንዳገነነላት ሰምተው ከእርስዋ ጋር ደስ አላቸው።

for i rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
ወንድሞች መጥተው አንተ በእውነት እንደምትሄድ ስለ እውነትህ ሲመሰክሩ እጅግ ደስ ብሎኛልና።

' do not run away . return to your luxury that you rejoiced in , and your homes in order that you be questioned '
አትገሥግሡ ፤ ትለመኑም ይኾናልና ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ወደ ተቀማጠላችሁበት ጸጋ ወደ መኖሪያዎቻችሁም ተመለሱ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

so , when their messengers brought them the clear signs , they rejoiced in what knowledge they had , and were encompassed by that they mocked at .
መልክተኞቻቸውም ተዓምራቶችን ባመጡላቸው ጊዜ እነርሱ ዘንድ ባለው ዕውቀት ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩት ቅጣትም በእነርሱ ላይ ሰፈረባቸው ፡ ፡

but i rejoiced in the lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
ነገር ግን አሁን ከጊዜ በኋላ ስለ እኔ እንደ ገና ልታስቡ ስለ ጀመራችሁ፥ በጌታ እጅግ ደስ ይለኛል፤ ጊዜ አጣችሁ እንጂ፥ ማሰብስ ታስቡ ነበር።

those who stayed behind rejoiced at their staying behind the messenger of god . and they hated to strive with their wealth and their lives in god s way ’ .
እነዚያ ከዘመቻ የቀሩት ከአላህ መልክተኛ በኋላ በመቀመጣቸው ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ በአላህም መንገድ በገንዘቦቻቸውና በነፍሶቻቸው መታገልን ጠሉ ፡ ፡ « በሐሩር አትኺዱ » አሉም ፡ ፡ « የገሀነም እሳት ተኳሳነቱ በጣም የበረታ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ ( አይቀሩም ነበር ) ፡ ፡

so , when they forgot what they had been reminded of , we opened the gates of all things so that while they rejoiced in what they had been granted we seized them suddenly and they were plunged into utter despair .
በርሱም ይገሰጹበት የነበረውን ነገር በተው ጊዜ በእነሱ ላይ የነገርን ሁሉ ደጃፎች ከፈትን ( አስመቸናቸው ) ፡ ፡ በተሰጡትም ነገር በተደሰቱ ጊዜ በድንገት ያዝናቸው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ ተስፋ ቆራጮች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

and when their messengers came to them with clear proofs , they [ merely ] rejoiced in what they had of knowledge , but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule .
መልክተኞቻቸውም ተዓምራቶችን ባመጡላቸው ጊዜ እነርሱ ዘንድ ባለው ዕውቀት ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩት ቅጣትም በእነርሱ ላይ ሰፈረባቸው ፡ ፡

( and it will be said ) : ' that is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right , and were very happy .
ይህ ( ቅጣት ) ያላግባብ በምድር ውሰጥ ትደሰቱ በነበራችሁትና ትንበጣረሩ በነበራችሁት ነው ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

allah eases and restricts the sustenance for whomever he wills ; and the disbelievers rejoiced upon the life of this world ; and the life of this world , as compared with the hereafter , is just a brief utilisation .
አላህ ለሚሻው ሰው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፤ ያጠባልም ፡ ፡ ( ከሓዲዎች ) በቅርቢቱም ሕይወት ተደሰቱ ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት በመጨረሻይቱ አንጻር ( ትንሽ ) መጠቀሚያ እንጂ ምንም አይደለችም ፡ ፡

but when they neglected that with which they had been admonished , we opened for them the doors of all things , until when they rejoiced in what they were given we seized them suddenly ; then lo ! they were in utter despair .
በርሱም ይገሰጹበት የነበረውን ነገር በተው ጊዜ በእነሱ ላይ የነገርን ሁሉ ደጃፎች ከፈትን ( አስመቸናቸው ) ፡ ፡ በተሰጡትም ነገር በተደሰቱ ጊዜ በድንገት ያዝናቸው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እነርሱ ተስፋ ቆራጮች ኾኑ ፡ ፡
