at this moses threw down his staff , and lo , it became a live serpent .

so [ moses ] threw his staff , and suddenly it was a serpent manifest .

so ( moses ) cast his staff , and lo , it turned into a living serpent .
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

so he threw it down , and all of a sudden , it turned into a fast-moving serpent .
ጣላትም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምትሮጥ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

( no sooner had he said this than ) moses threw down his rod and behold , it was a veritable serpent ,
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

and the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
እባቡም ሴቲቱ በወንዝ እንድትወሰድ ሊያደርግ ወንዝ የሚያህልን ውኃ ከአፉ በስተ ኋላዋ አፈሰሰ።

so [ musa ( moses ) ] threw his stick , and behold , it was a serpent , manifest .
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

then [ musa ( moses ) ] threw his stick and behold ! it was a serpent , manifest !
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርስዋም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

but when he saw the rod writhing as though it were a serpent , he turned his back in retreat and did not even look behind . " o moses , have no fear .
« በትርህንም ጣል » ( ተባለ ጣለም ) ፡ ፡ እርሷ እንደ ትንሽ እባብ በፍጥነት ስትስለከለክ ባያትም ጊዜ ፤ ወደ ኋላ ዞሮ ሸሸ ፡ ፡ አልተመለሰምም ፡ ፡ « ሙሳ ሆይ ! አትፈራ ፤ እኔ መልክተኞቹ እኔ ዘንድ አይፈሩምና ፡ ፡

then ( moses ) threw his rod , and behold ! it was a serpent , plain ( for all to see ) !
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርስዋም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

then when he saw it wriggling as though it were a serpent , he turned in flight and looked not back . o musa ! fear thou not ; verily in my presence the sent ones fear not .
« በትርህንም ጣል » ( ተባለ ጣለም ) ፡ ፡ እርሷ እንደ ትንሽ እባብ በፍጥነት ስትስለከለክ ባያትም ጊዜ ፤ ወደ ኋላ ዞሮ ሸሸ ፡ ፡ አልተመለሰምም ፡ ፡ « ሙሳ ሆይ ! አትፈራ ፤ እኔ መልክተኞቹ እኔ ዘንድ አይፈሩምና ፡ ፡

and when he saw it quivering like a serpent he turned about , retreating , and turned not back . ' moses , fear not ; surely the envoys do not fear in my presence ,
« በትርህንም ጣል » ( ተባለ ጣለም ) ፡ ፡ እርሷ እንደ ትንሽ እባብ በፍጥነት ስትስለከለክ ባያትም ጊዜ ፤ ወደ ኋላ ዞሮ ሸሸ ፡ ፡ አልተመለሰምም ፡ ፡ « ሙሳ ሆይ ! አትፈራ ፤ እኔ መልክተኞቹ እኔ ዘንድ አይፈሩምና ፡ ፡

for every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
የአራዊትና የወፎች የተንቀሳቃሾችና በባሕር ያለ የፍጥረት ወገን ሁሉ በሰው ይገራል፥ ደግሞ ተገርቶአል፤
