« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

and another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
ሌላ መልአክም በሰማይ ካለው መቅደስ ወጣ፥ እርሱም ደግሞ ስለታም ማጭድ ነበረው።

certainly you were heedless of it , but now we have removed from you your veil , so your sight today is sharp .
« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

and to the angel of the church in pergamos write; these things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
በጴርጋሞንም ወዳለው ወደ ቤተ ክርስቲያን መልአክ እንዲህ ብለህ ጻፍ። በሁለት ወገን የተሳለ ስለታም ሰይፍ ያለው እንዲህ ይላል።

« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

ስለዚህም እርስ በርሳቸው እስኪለያዩ ድረስ መከፋፋት ሆነ፥ በርናባስም ማርቆስን ይዞ በመርከብ ወደ ቆጵሮስ ሄደ።

how sharp of hearing , how sharp of sight they will be when they come to us . but today , these evil-doers are obviously lost in error .
በሚመጡን ቀን ምን ሰሚ ምንስ ተመልካች አደረጋቸው ! ግን አመጸኞች ዛሬ ( በዚህ ዓለም ) በግልጽ ስህተት ውስጥ ናቸው ፡ ፤

and i looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
አየሁም፥ እነሆም ነጭ ደመና፥ በደመናውም ላይ የሰውን ልጅ የሚመስል ተቀምጦአል፥ በራሱም ላይ የወርቅ አክሊል በእጁም ስለታም ማጭድ ነበረው።

when fear comes , you can see them looking at you , their eyes rolling about like to faint because of the agony of death . when their fear subsides , they start to bite you with their sharp tongues .
በእናንተ ላይ ( እርዳታን ) የነፈጉ ሆነው እንጅ ( የማይመጡትን ) ፣ ሽብሩም በመጣ ጊዜ እንደዚያ ከሞት ( መከራ ) በርሱ ላይ የሚሸፍን ዐደጋ እንደወደቀበት ዓይኖቻቸው ወዲያና ወዲህ የምትዞር ኾና ወዳንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ሽብሩም በኼደ ጊዜ በገንዘብ ላይ የሚሳሱ ኾነው በተቡ ምላሶች ይነድፏችኋል ፡ ፡ እነዚያ አላመኑም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አላህ ሥራዎቻቸውን አበላሸ ፡ ፡ ይህም በአላህ ላይ ገርነው ፡ ፡

and out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of almighty god.
አሕዛብንም ይመታበት ዘንድ ስለታም ሰይፍ ከአፉ ይወጣል፤ እርሱም በብረት በትር ይገዛቸዋል፤ እርሱም ሁሉን የሚገዛ የእግዚአብሔርን የብርቱ ቍጣውን ወይን መጥመቂያ ይረግጣል።

( he will be told ) , " you were completely heedless of this day . we have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong " .
« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡
